#Winter - The Avalanche - Mystery Bounty Day 1/A

Event #3 of the Winter 2024 festival is a €330 Mystery Bounty, starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday and featuring two flights (Day 1B Turbo from 9 p.m.).
With €130 of the buy-in going into the bounty pool, the Mystery Bounty format will kick off on Sunday's Final Day, when around 15% of the remaining field enters the money.
The normal opening day will be contested over 12 30-minute levels, while the Turbo will feature the same number of levels, reduced to a quarter of an hour.
The final round will take place on Sunday at 2 p.m. on blinds 2000 - 4000 (4000), with the end of the tournament to be followed by streaming. To register for Day 1, there's no need to break your Saturday: registration for Day 1A is open until 8.45 p.m., and from the start of Level 9, for Day 1B Turbo it will be possible to enter just after 11 p.m.!
We'll be taking a closer look at Day 1A, which comprises 6 hours of poker , with 2 hours of play each time, followed by a break. Dinner break at the end of the 8th level, starting at 7:30 p.m. and lasting 75 minutes.

The €330 Mystery Bounty Avalance started with blinds 100 - 100 for a warm-up round with no ante... The counter already shows 115 players in the running for the first of the day's 12 30-minute levels.
Registration is open until the start of level 9, after the dinner break, and resumes at 8.45pm... enough to get you close to the €30,000 guarantee, as there will also be a Day 1B Turbo starting at 9pm.
Despite his health problems, Pierre Neuville has been hot on his heels since the start of the year (he has won the new Extra Stack tournament twice in a row to get closer to 5 million in career earnings).
Noah Alem, Moise Alloun, Ali Nafaoui, Agim Guizmo, Raphael Canta and Abdel Chenoufi are also on hand for this tournament, whose Mystery format will begin with the entry into the money, during JOur 2 at around 15% of the field...

There are ten minutes left to play in level 4 of this opening day of the €330 Avalanche... and there's now €30,056 in the prize pool as there are 180 in the running for 199 entrants.
There will be a 30-minute break at the end of this 200 - 400 (400) level, with the average being 33,000 chips, as many of the regulars from Namur's Circus Casino Resort enter the fray.
Gilles Magny, who distinguished himself at the CPS 2023, is here, as are Fouad Elmouhmouh and 7Handed Festival winner Yoan Argence.
Stephane Minkov, Pascal Groshens, Christophe Colantoni, Arno Coene, Andreas Gondrom, Ekin Kandemir, Min Sung Lee, Ingo Paulus, Dovidio Monaco, Sebastian Maud, Dominique Potenza, Morgan Poisson and Robert Selen are in the game.
Carina Voncken, Antho Rodrigues, Greg van Der Weckene and Patrick Zallum are also keen to do well at Event #3 of the Winter Festival.

Level 7 has just begun and 170 players are on track in blinds 500 - 1000 (1000) with an average of 41 blinds.
The counter shows 234 entries, while registration is open until the start of level 9, at 8.45 p.m., after a dinner break which will begin in just over an hour's time at the end of level 8.
The prizepool now exceeds €35,000...

Play resumes at 8:45pm on this Avalanche Mystery Bounty at €330 entry. After the locker rooms, level 9 will start and registration will be closed for this flight (start of 1B Turbo at 9 p.m.The table currently shows 142 players in the running for 255 entrants.
The overall prize pool is now close to €74,000, with almost €40,000 in the prizepool and €33,600 in bonuses to be shared after entering the money at 15% of the field.

Level 11 is underway on the first of two flights of the Winter Festival's Avalanche Mystery Bounty. The organization raised nearly €86,000 to share on Day 2 with 255 entrants. There's still Day 1B to join the dance...
With just over an hour left to play on Day 1A, and an average of 77,000 chips on 1,000 - 2,500 (2,500), Dang Nguyen, Ruben Tach, Cristian Bogdan, Pierre Neuville and Mihai Stinca have only the Turbo left to reach the Final Day and hope to pull in a nice envelope on this €330-entry tournament.

The final level begins with 77 players out of 255 entrants, Gilles Magny has just climbed back above the 99,000-chip average thanks to a big blind shove.
After a limp and an isolation attempt, Gilles put 52,000 chips in the middle on 2000 - 4000 (4000). The isolationist called with ace-valet and found himself a few blinds down with half an hour to go. With 110,000 chips, the CPS 2023 host rested up for Day 2.
Magny can aspire to take its share of a prizepool now flirting with €92,000. It's still possible to join the second and final day of Turbo start for twenty minutes. Farid Azarkan, Simon Bouaksa and Ali Nafaoui have no choice if they want to make it to Sunday's Final Day.

Cyril Richard takes the helm of Mystery Bounty
Registration is closed for Day 1B, the final flight of this Mystery Bounty Avalanche. With the 255 entries for Day 1A and 88 additional entries on this 1B Turbo, attendance climbs to 343.
There will be 51,724 to be shared by players in the money, around 15% of the field, and a further €44,590 to be distributed in Mystery bonuses from there too. The winning players in this tournament will share a total of almost €96,000!
With an hour left to play and just over 4 quarter-hour levels with 52 players in the running on the Turbo, it's all over for Day 1A, with the following results 61 survivors.
After an effective 6 hours 30 of poker, the last 5 hands were announced... the field falling from 66 to 61 units, with Dominique Bruzzes in particular making a fine delivery. This left the field with 234,000 chips, well placed for the resumption of play on 2500 - 5000 (5000) at 2pm on Sunday.
