#Winter - The Avalanche - Mystery Bounty Day 1/B

Event #3 of the Winter 2024 festival is a Mystery Bounty at €330 a ticket that has starts at 3 p.m. Saturday and offers two flights. Day 1B Turbo starts at 9pm with 15-minute levels.
With €130 of the buy-in going into the bounty pool, the Mystery Bounty format will kick off on Sunday's Final Day, when around 15% of the remaining field enters the money.
The normal opening day will be contested over 12 30-minute levels, while the Turbo will feature the same number of levels, reduced to a quarter of an hour.
The tie-breaker will take place on Sunday at 2 p.m. in blinds 2000 - 4000 (4000), with the end of the tournament to be followed by streaming. To register for Day 1, there's no need to break your Saturday, registrations for Day 1A are open until 8:45 p.m. and from the start of level 9On Day 1B Turbo, it will be possible to enter just after 11 p.m.!
We'll be taking a closer look at Day 1A, which will feature 6 effective hours of poker , with 2 hours of play each followed by a break. There will be no dinner break on the turbish, with the day scheduled to end a little after 12:30 a.m. on this final opening day...

Registration is closed for Day 1B, the final flight of this Mystery Bounty Avalanche. With the 255 entries from Day 1A and an additional 88 entries for this 1B Turbo, the total number of entries climbs to 343.
There will be €51,724 to share for players in the money, around 15% of the field, and a further €44,590 to distribute in Mystery Bounties from there too. The prize-winning players in this tournament will share a total of almost €96,000!
There's an hour of play left, and just over four quarter-hour levels with 52 players in the running.

61 survivors on Day 1A
After an effective 6 hours 30 of poker, the last 5 hands were announced... the field falling from 66 to 61 units, with Dominique Bruzzes in particular making a fine delivery. This left the field with 234,000 chips, well placed for the resumption of play on 2500 - 5000 (5000) at 2pm on Sunday.
The Cyril Richard (photo), who packed the biggest stack with 352,000 pawns on Sunday and a televised Final Day.
Raphael Canta, Carina Voncken, Foud Elmouhmouh, Remy Terzi, Gilles Magny, Johan Mertens, Kristof Verhoeven, Morgan Poisson, Ken Claessens and Mark O'Sullivan will also be there to try and grab a slice of the cake too!

23 survivors go Turbo, 84 survivors on Final Day
After 13 15-minute levels and 3 hours and 15 minutes of play at poker, 23 of the 88 entrants to the €330 Day 1B Turbo Avalanche Mystery Bounty have bagged chips.
They will be 84 on the restart on 2500 - 5000 (5000) Sunday at 2 p.m. with probably 50 paid seats. At that point, the Mystery Bounty format will kick in with a little more than 96,000 to be shared by prizewinners.
Kenny Berti (above) was in a strong position, bagging up the most chips on this second and final starting day. He will return with 312,000 chips on Sunday for the Final Day of this 334-entry tournament.
It was also a good day for the champion of the 7Handed Festival at the end of 2023, Yoan Argence (245,000) and Fred Blehaut (205,000).
