How do I win part of the Circus Jackpot?

Royal Flush

When a player makes a five-card Royal Flush, which must include his two hole cards, he becomes eligible for a special bonus, provided he wins the hand, even if it ends on the flop (i.e., if all opponents fold before the turn or river). Subsequent cards are not drawn, but the bonus can be activated on the flop, turn or river, depending on when the hand ends.

If this Straight Flush occurs during a game of Texas Hold'em Tournament, a special die will be rolled via the Dice Poker shuffle machine.

The result taken into account will be the face above once the die is stopped.
This die includes :

  • Two sides marked 4
  • Two sides marked 5
  • Two sides marked 6

Depending on the number obtained, the player will receive a corresponding percentage of the jackpot:

  • 🎲 4 → the player wins 4% of the jackpot
  • 🎲 5 → the player wins 5% of the jackpot
  • 🎲 6 → the player wins 6% of the jackpot

Bad Beat

The badbeat is undoubtedly the way to win the largest percentage of theCircus Jackpot.

To qualify, a player must lose a hand in a cash game, tournament or Sit & Go (excluding freerolls and self-deals) with at least one square.

However, the two players involved must meet certain conditions:

  • Do not reveal the contents of their hands before slaughter, go all the way to the showdown
  • That their respective hands consist of the two private cards and three community cards.

After a roll of the special six-sided die (values 4, 5 and 6), the jackpot is distributed as follows:

  • 10% of the total prize pool is automatically deducted from the next prize pool.
  • The remainder of the prize pool is then divided between :
    • The player who has suffered the Bad Beat
    • The player who won the hand
    • Other participants in the hand (having received cards)

The share allocated to each group depends on the result of the die roll:

🎲 If the die shows 4 :

  • 40% to the player who suffered the Bad Beat
  • 30% to the winner of the hand
  • 30% distributed among other players who received cards

🎲 If the die shows 5 :

  • 50% to the player who suffered the Bad Beat
  • 25% to the winner of the hand
  • 25% distributed among other players who received cards

🎲 If the die shows 6 :

  • 60% to the player who suffered the Bad Beat
  • 20% to the winner of the hand
  • 20% distributed among other players who received cards

The Circus Jackpot does not apply to self-deal & freeroll tournaments.

Bad-beat Jackpot - 31/01/2025

26.400€

A one-shot loser managed to land the Circus Jackpot during the final flight of the Winter festival Main Event.

It all started well for Tony who with 6♠6♥, hits his three of a kind on a 6♣8♥K♦ board , however his opponent hits top set with K♥K♣.

Only a Square for Tony can save him from this bad move, but the turn, k♥, no longer offers any prospect of winning this move, despite a nice invisible full house....

The magic river then falls 6♦After bets, raises and all-in raises, both players are certain to win the hand.... At the showdown, it's a crushing blow for Tony, who despite his Square of 6 loses almost all his chips....BadBeat

This being said, in all our tournaments with dealers, the BadBeat prize pool is active, which allows Tony with his beaten four to pocket the pretty sum of €11,735, his direct opponent pockets €7,040, and the rest of the table shares the €4,000, i.e. €587 each!!!!

Always beautiful in Namur.

In Namur, the following Bad Beat Jackpot rules apply

Please note: Change of distribution from April 14, 2025.

10% of the jackpot remains to start the next jackpot. The remainder goes to the loser of the hand and therefore the recipient of the bad beat (50%), the winner of the hand (30%) and the remaining players at the table (20%). Depending on the size of the jackpot, different rules apply to meet the conditions for a bad beat.

Up to €4,999, you must lose the pot with a straight flush of at least ten (for example ).
From €5,000 to €9,999, the losing hand must be at least a straight flush (e.g., ).
From $10,000 to $14,999, the minimum hand to lose is four tens (for example against ).
From $15,000 to $19,999, a four of a kind of five (quads) is sufficient as a losing hand (for example against ).
From €20,000 upwards, any square (quads) is sufficient as a losing hand, so the minimum requirement is then as the losing hand.
