Cyril Hanouna has been the star host of "Touche pas à mon poste!" on C8 for many years, and is a poker enthusiast who played a lot in the early 2010s. He was even briefly part of Team PokerXTrem alongside Stéphane Benadiba, Franck Kalfon and Laurie Bismuth.

In 2011, he managed to make it into the paid places on the EPT Deauville, finishing in a fine 59th place for €13,000. His best performance to date came a few months earlier, when he finished 3rd in the Hold'em Main Event at the Aviation Club de France for €16,035.

"I met Cyril Hanouna at a poker table," said his columnist Christophe Carrière a while back. Cyril is a good tournament player. He talks a lot. He can easily throw his opponents for a loop. He has a really good grasp of the game and player psychology. Today, he lacks the time to play, but he's a real enthusiast.
