The fifth of the 8 Oktoberfest start days gets underway at 4 p.m., with some 50 players already registered 15 minutes before the gong!

Play got underway with 79 players competing on the tournament's only ante-free level. Let's go on 100 - 200!

Denis Charlier, Robin Splendido, Charly Calfelis, Anthony Bui Ngoc, Robin Cornet, Emile Custinne, Viorel Merisan, Sabrina Senden and Rachid Oufaska are already at the tables on Day 1E.

Opening Day 5 kicks off with 528 entries... 153 players have validated their ticket for Day 2, which starts on Saturday at 2pm.

The Session at a glance

Players receive 50,000 tokens and play 9 30-minute levels, followed by 3 40-minute levels.

Registration for Day 1E is open until the start of level 10, at around 10.15pm.

Participants play 4 levels and two hours of poker before a half-hour break. The second break is the 75-minute dinner-break, starting at 8.30pm.

Day 1F Turbo starts at 10 p.m. with 9 levels of 15 minutes each, followed by 3 levels of 20 minutes each. Registration closes around 12.30 p.m...

The Oktoberfest tournament is played in Progressive KO format, with each player starting with a €100 bounty on his head. By taking a player out, you collect 50% of his bounty directly, and the other half of his bounty comes to your head...

Romain Le Dantec Patron du Jour 1E


French WSOP winner Romain le Dantec topped the fifth of eight starting sessions at the €330 Oktoberfest. The Frenchman piled up 11 times the starting stack in 9 levels of 30 minutes chained with 3 levels of 40 minutes. Plenty to look forward to before the resumption on 2000 - 4000 (4000), Saturday at 2pm. 



Day 1E was the biggest starting day of the Oktoberfest 2023, for the moment, as Friday's 2 p.m. Day 1G promises to be epic. With 239 entries, the tournament is not far off the 800 mark...

64 players bagged chips at the end of a long day at poker, leaving 217 with the precious sesame for the weekend. 

Despite this mountain, Romain did less well than Nath Mizrah in terms of bounties. Nathanael finished with €550 in bounties in front of him, so there's a price on his head... with 311,000 pawns to his name, he's scary, but the wolves will be there as soon as his depth diminishes!

On the BPC podium, Tayer Ayhan has raised another ton (426,000), while previous Oktoberfest winner Mohamed Touahri will also have something to play for on Saturday (186,000).

Mischa Wieten, Rens Buijs, Christian Delacombaz, Hugo Loustau, Axel Santoni, Nikolas Wicquart, Tino de Zutter, Fabrice Eneault, David Olurebi or Danielle Claeys have also passed the hurdle and will be there on Saturday...
