Charles Herman triumphs in Namur

Third victory on the poker circuit for a 36-year-old veteran, Belgian Charles Herman. Very active a decade ago, the young father now only plays in amateur mode... he was coming off a paid seat at the Main Event Classic's. 

Unavailable to play the BPC, Charles came to enjoy himself in Event #6 Freezout of the Belgian Poker Challenge, taking home the trophy and €6,550 after reaching an agreement with Dutchman Danny Ummels in head's up to smooth things over. Belgium's Stéphane Lomzik rounded off the podium in a tournament that attracted 154 players.

It took Charles Herman 14 hours of poker to capture most of a €31,015 prize pool, with the final 23 players also taking a share...

Julien Lauer, Samir Akhoullou and Pascal Honai didn't leave empty-handed...
