Cock-a-doodle-doo for Gaëtan

Amateur player who loves Live, Gaëtan Schnepf took up poker after the COVID, and won his landmark victory over a field of 1,827 entrants. After a deal that left the champion with €5,000 to play with, he prevailed in a final duel lasting almost 90 minutes, taking the lion's share of a hefty €367,960 prizepool.

The last 6 players in the running turned their buy-in into a 5-figure win, and the last 5 players in the running will be in the CPS Main Event at the end of the year thanks to their €2,200 ticket!

18 players returned for Day 3, played over 50-minute levels... Four players fell during the first hour, including champion BPC Samy Barka (18th), eliminated in 5 minutes while Fabian Gentile (12th) had not yet arrived!

It took just under 3 hours of poker to reach the Final Table, with the Frenchman Antoine Cochet just missing out. Three Belgians lost out in the semi-finals, while Goran Bogdanovic only lasted ten minutes on the final table.

Kader Slila (4th) was in the lead at the start of the final, and secured his ticket, but card-dead he lost out at the foot of the podium. Immediately afterwards Olivier Maio (5th) who qualified for €50 at The Clover!

Jhonn Lienard was Belgium's best-ever podium finisher after qualifying on Friday evening on the last of the eight start days...
