Participants will play 9 levels of 15 minutes each, followed by 3 levels of 20 minutes each, before packing their chips for Day 2 at 2pm on Saturday.

63 players start the final level of the Turbo 1H, heading for Day 2... For those who jump and don't have the bankroll and still want to play this High-Roller, the organization has planned a bonus.

Note that a satellite at €100 Extra for High-Roller at €600 has been added to the program, starting on Saturday at 3 p.m. (15,000 - 10 min.), so don't be late!

48 Turbo qualifiers, Steve Berdoyes finishes strong

As Farukh Tach (299,000) headed for the Turbo chiplead, Steve Berdoyes found the dream spot. He saw Xavier Servais go all-in with 7 blinds and a pair of deuces, then saw an opponent send 140,000 and go all-in over the top... before opening two Aces for an easy call.

Enough to bag up 304,000 chips and the biggest stack of the 8th starting session, which brought together 97 players to bring the final attendance of the Circus Namur French Open to 1,139.

With the 48 Turbo qualifiers, there will be 352 on the starting line on Saturday for Day 2, which kicks off at 2pm. Heading for a €50,000 first prize!

The €314,000 prize pool will be shared over 40-minute levels, with levels rising to 50 minutes at Sunday's Final Day. Shana Oyen, Constantin Ifrim, Rami Awad and Samir Akhoullou didn't make it all the way up the ladder, but they did book a ticket for the weekend, so there's still hope!
