Pel Gonfle again (€9,200)
Pel Nieuwenhuis won the Winter Festival in January... the Dutchman beat more than 3,400 opponents to turn €250 into €90,000, this time the ROI is less important but the young player signs a new performance in Namur.
Pel Nieuwenhuis won the €330 Event #24 Single Re-Entry of the Belgian Poker Challenge, on Saturday at the Circus Casino Resort in Namur. Pel Nieuwenhuis came from behind in the last duel to add €9,200 to his bankroll. He triumphed after a final duel against Simone Demasi, his talent and skills having spoken for themselves in a tournament contested over 15-minute levels.
There were 138 entrants to the one-day event, and the Dutchman took the lion's share of the €37,950 prizepool. The final 20 players shared the prize pool after Samuel Bovy's bubble... Fred Daidts, Christian Alilovic and JS Denissa came close to the final...
