Day 1D kicks off

5 tables are currently open on Day 1D, which started at 9pm. The fourth of six opening sessions of the SuperSide WaSOP offers 10 levels of 25 minutes and 30,000 chips to express oneself.

Sabrina Senden, Yoan Argence, Gaetan Lheureux, Moncef Karoui, Eric Geraume, Vincent Vinet, Raphael Canta, Rami Awad and many others are currently battling it out at the end of level 3 and blinds 200 - 400 (400)... Late registration ends at the start of level 10, just after 1 a.m.

The crowds continue to swell, with registrations still open for an hour on Day D. The fourth SuperSide start day features 25-minute levels and has so far attracted 62 competitors. 

There are 41 players still in the running in blinds 500 - 1000 (1000) and the 7th level of play. Wesley Peinen, Damien Hupé, Romain Le Dantec and Gilles Lamy are on this Flight... as is Germany's Thomas Schaeven.

There's one level and 25 minutes left to play on Day 1D... registration is closed on the fourth of six starting days for the SuperSide WaSOP 2024. 29 players are still in the running for the bagging of the 68 entries for this flight, which is a little faster than the others...

22 qualifiers on the 1D, Lionel de Hondt on top 

Opening Day 4 was spread over 10 25-minute levels, with 22 players clearing the hurdle to take the field of qualifiers to 157 for Monday's 2pm Day 2.

Belgian Lionel de Hondt (below) bagged the chiplead with just over 5 times the starting stack. Damien Hupe came close to the top score after a late jump from Day 1C, the final level of madness for the boss of Poker One! 

On Day 1D, Raphael Canta, Rayane Mokhtavarium, Mathias Moutaoukil, Eric Geraume, Rami Awad and Harrie Snijders also earned their place in the competition. 

Join us on Sunday from 2 p.m. for the last two qualifying sessions for the next round of the €330 SuperSide. Day 1E (with 10 45-minute levels) and Day 1F (from 8 p.m. with 25-minute levels) are expected to fill up with another 4-figure crowd at the Circus Casino Resort in Namur.
