The approaching bubble

Play is now at 2000 - 4000 (4000) and there are just 19 players in the running for 17 paid seats in the €250 WaSOP PLO Event #5. There's plenty of depth here, as the average is 175,000 chips!

Jens Heiggelmann, Olivian Balint, Claudio Afonso, Frank Steenbergen, Niko Heggelmann, Cheng Shu, Andreas Neukel, Justus Change surrendered their weapons for a foreign farandole of bustos. Glenn Laureys (20th) is the one and only Belgian out on Day 2 so far... At 19 left, only 4 remain in the running!

4 Germans, 5 French and 5 Dutch still make up the field, with a Pole in the middle of the mix. Good luck to all!

Fish in the net

The bubble burst after ten minutes of hand-to-hand play followingAmand Ducheine 's exit (19th). In the end, it was a Namur veteran who finished in the worst position.

Author of several successes here at the Circus Casino Resort in Namur, Morgan Poisson failed to finish in 18th place, offering a payout of €400 to the 17 survivors in this field of 117 entrants.

The Frenchman won't get his share of the €23,681 prizepool after going all in with Ace Ace 7 Queen and a straight... Morgan limped under the gun and saw the small blind announce "Pot", the big blind paid to see the tricolor "Pot" for his stack.

The small blind "Pot" to isolate with Ace Jack 6 2 and a straight and hit a Jack 6 2 flop that put Fish in the net. One turn and a river later, Morgan was out, heading for the fridge and the SuperSide.

After the exit of his compatriot Greg Lahmy, the remaining players were regrouped on the last two tables. They now faced off on blinds 2000 - 5000 (5000) with 40-minute levels.

The average is at 44 blinds, there can only be one left!
