The biggest pot of the tournament ... or almost
The Aygun/Dias/Vermeulen table could well have had the biggest pot, but the Luxembourger decided to cut the party short. Explanation.
After a UTG limp to 4,000, Cornelis Vermeulen (with a stack of 570k) isolates to 12,000. Rui Dias 3-bets to 38,000 from the button. Aksel Aygun flattens from SB, the limper pays and so does Cornelis Vermeulen.
The Qc-Kh-5h flop falls and everyone checks until Luxembourg's Rui Dias announces "I'm all-in" for almost 400k, an overbet at 3 times the pot.
If Aksel Aygun passes what he says is As-King, Cornelis Vermeulen will go into deep thought. At the same time, you have to understand that he's half-heartedly announcing that he has Jh-Th and is playing a lot of outs, even if there's a three of a kind in front of him.
The inordinate size of the stack means that he doesn't dare risk paying here and lets Rui Dias take over the pot, not without showing Qd-Qh for his second set of threes.
Questioned by the table about this move, Rui Dias defends himself by saying that the pot is already quite fat and that he's willing to settle for that, and especially doesn't want to risk seeing a turn that would make him doubt whether he's still ahead.
Thanks to this pot, Rui Dias (photo) enters the top 10 of the tournament with over 550,000 up for grabs.

They didn't expect it to go so fast
After half an hour's play on Day 2 of the Main Event, we've already lost 25 players, including quite a few familiar faces.
Christophe de Meulder (photo) and Pierre Neuville are among the first group to be eliminated, having both played less than ten minutes today.
We also lost Julien Lecamus, Rico Chevalot and Ugo Faggioli, who will be able to make up for it later on the Mystery Bounty.

They've already shone in Namur
Bayer Demirci
Short-stacked at the start of Day 2, with 10 blinds in front of him, after struggling to punch his ticket for today with several bullets dropped in history, Bayer Demirci, winner of the WaSOP Main Event in 2022, will have given up after 40 minutes today.
Muriel Gomez-Aragon
After the reigning champion's exit, only two players who have already won this Main Event remain in the running, Muriel Gomez-Aragon and David Debue.
While the first ever winner of the WaSOP (in 2010), Muriel Gomez-Aragon, is well off the pace at the time of writing, it's more complicated for David Debue, who's sailing in short-stack mode with around 15 blinds in front of him.

Alexandria, Alexandra
A regular on the French poker scene, Alexandra Laudicina unfortunately gave up the ghost during the second level of the day.
With As-King in her hand, she opens to 11,000 and is paid only by Tony Remondeau, in possession of a huge stack of 600k.
Both players check on the 2-9-3 flop.
On turn K, which offers her top pair, Alexandra checks/calls her opponent's 22,000 bet.
On the 2 on the river, Alexandra checks again and Tony rushes in, claiming his 80,000 stack.
She hesitates for a long time, asking her opponent if he has hit his 2, and ends up paying to be shown three of a kind.
Thanks to this move, Tony Remondeau has further increased his stack to 720,000.

"I believed in it"
Fabrice Somers
Starting Day 2 15th in the stack with 445,000 chips or 111 blinds, Fabrice Somers didn't reach the first break of the day, due to a succession of bad encounters.
First he loses As-King to two Jacks, then As-King to a pair of Sixes who find three of a kind on the flop, then As-Queen to a pair of 3s, doubling everyone at the table.
Crippled at 4 blinds, he managed to luckily double up to 10bb, but busted the next hand against the Jesus of the Week, aka Kevin Fluegel, the man who made 4th in the Super Side Event and 3rd in the High-Roller.
Fabrice Somers pushes his 10 blinds with Tc-9h to the Hi-Jack. He is paid by Kevin Fluegel with Kc-Qh on the Cut-Off.
At the end of a Th-Qs-7d-4c-Ad table, Fabrice Somers rises without flinching, contenting himself with a little "I believed it" to comment on this catastrophic day.

The birds will hear about it
Dominique Potenza
The birds at the Casino de Namur will no doubt be hearing about it for days, if not months, to come: Dominique Potenza has just come out of the tournament on a high, and he's clearly going to have a hard time recovering.
On the button, Halim Guerrout opens to 18,000 with Ad-Kh. His neighbor goes all-in for 70,000 with Jc-Ts from the small blind. Dominique Potenza in turn pushes all-in for 104,000 with Ac-Ks and the initial raise pays off.
At the end of a table that brought 4 diamonds, it was Halim Guerrout who walked away with all the chips, much to the dismay of Dominique Potenza, who pestered as usual. "Why does he put the diamonds in, isn't that normal?".
Like a child who's had his toy stolen, Dominique Potenza leaves the gaming area, very disappointed not to have made it any further and to have given up not so far from the paid seats.
It's Halim Guerrout who does the trick, climbing to 460,000 chips.

No justice
Gaston "Justice" Onana
It's been years since I last saw Gaston Onana, aka "Justice", at a poker tournament.
He delighted us in 2010 with a super deep run in one of the finest tournaments of the time, finishing 10th in the Partouche Poker Tour won by Ole Schemion, and above all thanks to a legendary video in which he recounted the shot where he had busted:"The pair of 9s, they're in front", does that ring a bell?
So, when Gaston Onana finds himself eliminated from the WaSOP Main Event, I can't wait for him to tell me the story behind his exit.
It was with great emotion, and almost tears in his eyes, that he told me about the big call he had made and which had not been rewarded.
"It's in a blind battle, the small blind makes 18,000. I pay with A-5 from the big blind. On the 2h-3d-Kc flop, he checks, I bet 20,000 and he goes all-in. I've got 160,000, I tell myself he's trying to pull the trigger, I can't see him with a better hand than me, and besides, I'm not going all in, I've still got a gutshot if ever. I pay after a lot of thought, he shows me Queen-Jack and immediately hits a Queen. It's a real emotional release at that moment, I'd really have liked to get into the paid seats. "
After battling his way back up to 160k, this beautiful call could have propelled him over the average with a 350k stack. Instead, Gaston Onana finds himself on the outside - there's really no justice!
If you've never seen it, now's the time to catch up with one of poker 's legendary videos.

293 players left at first break
At the first break of the day, only 293 players remain in the WaSOP Main Event and the bubble is fast approaching.
Among the chipleaders was a certain Quentin Destoky, who came very close to a correction at the start of the day, going all-in with the queens for his 250,000 chips against the table chipleader holding the kings.
A Queen on the flop and he's on his way to the top instead of the door.
Play resumes at blinds 4,000/8,000 (BB Ante 8,000) for an average of 288,225.

Majid: the bustering
Miguel Coussement
21st in this year's BPC Main Event, Miguel Coussement quietly continues his demolition business on Day 2 of the WaSOP Main Event, and is now dangerously close to 900,000 in chips, after having well and truly dirtied Majid Bozacraft.
In the middle of the hand, Miguel opens to 16,000 with Ad-Qh. From the big blind, Majid Bozacraft responds with a 3-bet to 45,000 from the big blind.
Miguel doesn't bother with details and calls "All-in", largely covering his opponent who had 120,000 left after his raise.
Majid pays in the second, and for good reason, he holds Qs-Qc.
Everything is going well on a Ts-6h-6s-9s board.
Only two cards can help Miguel Coussement on the river, and it's one of them that comes to the fore, an Ac that allows him to eliminate his disgusted opponent.

We've all got a crush on Omar
Omar Lakhdari
After dropping several bullets in the process, Omar Lakhdari didn't come to string pearls on Day 2 of the WaSOP Main Event.
As usual, he's all over the place, and you'd better have your heart in the right place when you take a swing at him.
I found him at Mathias Moutaoukil's table when he delivered an open at 24,000 on the button (out of 4,000/8,000).
Only Philipp Munzinger defends his big blind and there are two of them on the 7c-Ks-9h flop.
Omar sends a continuation bet to 22,000 and is check/called by his opponent.
He slows down the action on the 8d turn where he checks-back.
On the 8s river, Philipp Munzinger is the first to draw, placing a 25,000 chip in front of him, a 1/4 pot bet.
In no time at all, Omar Lakhdari advances two big stacks of reds for an over-raise to 195,000, putting his opponent all-in.
After a good minute's thought, Philipp Munzinger sends his cards off.
You can feel Omar ready to reveal his cards, but he changes his mind and prefers to calmly slip them to the dealer before adding to his chip collection.
With 385,000 now in front of him, Omar Lakhdari could well become poison on this well-charged table which also features Miguel Coussement.

Adios Dias
Rui Dias
I told you about him at the start of the day, when he was afraid of getting dirty with his flopped three of a kind. Rui Dias ended up getting dirty to exit just shy of the bubble on this WaSOP Main Event.
Under the gun, he opens at 18,000 and is only paid by Christian Bogdan at Lo-Jack.
On the Jd-Qd-8h flop, Rui Dias opts for an all-in check/raise for 170,000 after his opponent's 24,000 bet.
After much thought, Christian Bogdan pays with Kd-Qh, and will have to improve against Rui Dias' Ac-Qs.
And that's exactly what happens following the 9s turn and the Ts river, which offers a space straight to his opponent.
Disgusted, Rui Dias left the playground without going through the "Money" box, in 261st place.
As for Christian Bogdan, he is one of the current chipleaders with 960,000 ahead of him.

Brian Vangoetsenhoven bubble-boy of the WaSOP Main Event
After 5 hands of hand-for-hand, the bubble has burst on the WaSOP Main Event.
The 240 remaining players took a mere ten minutes. However, to find out the name of the bubble-boy, the 240th player in this Main Event, it took a good half-hour of hand-to-hand action.
Aksel Aygun calls Cornelis Vermeulen's bluff
On the first hand, Aksel Aygun attempts a 3-barrel bluff against Day 1A chipleader Cornelis Vermeulen, but the Dutch snap river player with Ah-Kh on a 5s-2h-4s-7h-4h board with his runner-runner flush. Aksel can show no better than Kc-Ts and has Cornelis doubled up.
Levent Efe saves himself with an Ace on the river
In the second hand of the hand-for-hand, we imagine it could end here. Levent Efe makes an ambitious resteal for his 18 blinds with Ac-4c of clubs. Paid by Brandon Van Kerkwijk with Kc-Kh, Levent Efe finds an Ad on the river to save himself, much to the dismay of the entire audience.
The next two hands don't result in any "all-in and call" and we start to think about the worst-case scenario of an endless bubble.
Fortunately, it's on the next hand that things really get going, with three simultaneous all-in draws.
Nawfal Ben Azuz doubles up in blind battle
On the first, Nawfal Ben Azuz made a ballsy call in a blinds battle with Kh-Jh for his 260,000 chips when his neighbor Jonas Ten Cate moved all-in with Js-6h. Despite a scary 4c-3h-5s flop, Nawfal Ben Azuz managed to dodge the bullets and double up to over 500k.
The money is ready for future first eliminators
It's on the second paid stack that the bubble bursts. Brian Vangoetsenhoven was in a good position to double up his 19-blind stack with Kh-Kc against Michal Gadzala's Ac-Ks. And yet, the dealer brings a cruel Ah on the turn that sends him to the worst seat in this WaSOP Main Event.
Maxence Melin avoids the bubble-boy spot by winning a flip
239 players now know they'll be in the money, but Maxence Melin can still share bubble-boy status, as he's all-in with Jc-Js against Thierry Pawlenko's As-Qs for his last 9 blinds. A 6d-7d-2s-Jh-Qh board later and Maxence Melin is relieved on the turn, with his opponent drawing dead.
Brian Vangoetsenhoven is the official bubble-boy of the WaSOP Main Event. The remaining 239 players are all in the money, guaranteed a minimum prize of €840.

Bouaksa drunk
Simon Bouaksa
3rd in last year's Estrellas in Barcelona for €268,100, Simon Bouaksa is a regular at tournaments here in Namur.
His fine deep run in the WaSOP Main Event came to an abrupt halt in 153rd place.
Short-stacked with 220,000 in front of him, he discovered the kings after Freddy Goddel directly sent his 170,000 stack into the middle at the beginning of the floor.
He logically pays and is shown As-Dix.
He senses the bad beat coming as the dealer turns over a Ten on the flop, and the dirt comes on the turn in the form of an Ace.
Down to 50,000 after this move, he put it all in two hands later with Queen-7. Isolated by a player, he hoped his cards would be alive. But his opponent Daniel Kaffka's pair of queens was not enough.

What if it became the SGO-AT?
Jérôme Sgorrano
Used to spending his short-stack life on the big tournaments in Namur for months and months, Jérôme Sgorrano finally has the chips to go far in this WaSOP Main Event.
Up to 1.3 million, he has even allowed himself the fantasy of doubling Luca Peroraro.
UTG+1, he opens to 30,000, is paid by the Lo-Jack player, before Luca Pecoraro sends the couscous from the big blind. An all-in to 215,000, or 14 blinds.
He places 630,000 in front of him to isolate his opponent and sends the third thief through.
With As-Qc against Ah-Kc, Jérôme can't chat his 30% equity and has to give up precious ammunition.
Nothing dramatic, however, for Jérôme Sgorrano, who still has 1,050,000 after this move.

No balls, no glory!
Christophe Devaux
It was with these words that Michel Fajga, present at the table, commented on the move that had just earned Christophe Devaux an extra ball in this WaSOP Main Event.
In Hi-Jack, Christophe sends in his stack of ten blinds with Kh-Qd, no doubt secretly hoping to steal the blinds.
Little problem, the two blinds seem to be interested in this affair as Stijn Favest pays with Ac-Tc and Lionel de Beer, who is covering this little world, also pays with Jh-Js in hand.
It wasn't until the Qs turn that Christophe Devaux imagined himself out of this situation, even if it was a third spade.
A harmless river and Christophe Devaux is up to over 700,000 after this move, while Stijn Favest heads for the cashier and Lionel de Beer finds himself crippled.

Charly and his funny kings
Charly Mouline
With the exception of Kevin Fluegel (4th in the Super Side and 3rd in the High-Roller), the man in form at this year's festival in Namur could well be Charly Mouline.
Runner-up in last year's WaSOP High-Roller, he now has three consecutive ITMs at the festival. 12th in the Super Side Event for €3,510, then 13th in the High-Roller for €4,345, Charly Mouline has so far been content with slightly frustrating places of honour, but shows a fine consistency on these huge Namur fields.
With 130 players left in the Main Event, he's currently one of the chipleaders with a stack of 1.3 million, and he's relaxed as can be. With 65 blinds in front of him, it would be hard to imagine anything less.
He tells me about one of the moves that got him off the ground on Day 2. Watch out, eyes!
It all starts with an open from a very tight player at 25,000 UTG (It was on the 5,000 / 10,000 blinds). The UTG+2 player pays. Charly discovers Kings on the button and just pays on the button."That's Aksel (Aygun) in SB and he's capable of flaming out," Charly tells me. In the end, Aksel stays wise and simply pays the bet.
There are four of them on the Kx-Th-5h flop, which brings Charly the max set. Everyone checks to him. Charly draws a small 28,000, Aksel passes, the UTG player pays and the UTG+2 player decides to check/raise to 90,000. Charly just completes and the third player passes.
The turn is a 4d and the UTG+2 player sends in his stack for just over 300,000. A fairly obvious decision for Charly Mouline who snaps to be shown King-Ten for two flopped pairs.
His opponent was already drawing dead and Charly Mouline just had to wait for him to pocket his stack.

Omar, if you only knew
Omar Lakhdari
As active as ever, Omar Lakhdari has just come close to a correction on this WaSOP Main Event. I'd go so far as to say that Omar 1.0 could well have lost a ton on this one, but not 2.0, who knows when to cut his losses.
It all starts with Omar raising to 55,000 on the button. Only Niels Gybels accepts the invitation from the big blind.
The dealer unrolls a Jh-Jc-Jd flop which Omar continuation-bets to 40,000. Niels checks/calls fairly quickly.
The Td turn once again inspires the winner of the BPC Namur to place a bet. It's 130,000, ladies and gentlemen. Niels takes a little longer, but pays again, calmly, with 550,000 behind him.
The river is an anecdotal 3c and Niels checks a third time. The call goes to Omar, and you can tell he's itching to put in the third barrel. He's left with 535,000, just over the height of the pot.
"Do I put on the third barrel? Is he going to lay a small pair? This guy can't have a jack, can he? The journalist is watching me, I can't spew. Go ahead, I don't care, if I jump, there's the Mystery Bounty!"
It's hard to put yourself in Omar Lakhdari's head, as you can imagine. The Parisian player thinks for a good two minutes, then finally taps the table.
Niels Gybels returns Js-8s for flopped square. We can imagine that for Omar Lakhdari, this is a small victory. No spew against the nuts. After this bad move, he still has 530,000 chips to fight with, enough to turn his opponents' heads.

Ali Nafaoui
The last member of Team Poker One to take part in this Main Event, after the exit of Captain Damien Hupé in 149th position, Ali Nafaoui is in a serene mood and can count on a massive stack of 1.6 million to scare off some of his opponents.
As I arrive at his table, I see him 3-bet to 155,000 from the button against Mehdi Hbili's 55,000 Hi-Jack open.
With a stack of 500,000 chips, Medhi Hbili prefers to pass by showing a pair of tens.
Ali Nafaoui's exhorbated eyes as he sees his opponent's cards speak volumes about his surprise at being so respected on this 3-bet.
With this stack, he's probably one of the top 5 players in the tournament right now.

"The best turn to shove"
Théo Milioni
10th in the BPC Namur won by Omar Lakhdari, after showing a high level of poker throughout the tournament, Théo Milioni had escaped my radar, until he found himself involved in a huge 1.8 million pot. Let me tell you all about it.
At the cut-off, Théo Milioni opens to 50,000. He is paid by his neighbor Julien Wasilewski on the button.
On flop 9d-Ac-7h, Théo Milioni checks/raises to 180,000 after Julien Wasilewski has bet 60,000. Julien quickly pays up.
The turn is a Jd that opens a diamond draw, and it's on this turn that Théo Milioni will send his all-in, claiming the 650,000 of his opponent, who snap with As-Js.
Théo Milioni still plays a lot of outs with his Qd-8d, but none fall on the river as the dealer reveals a harmless 5h.
Thanks to this huge pot, Julien Wasilewski climbed to 1.8 million, before scraping a few moves closer to the 2 million mark.
As for Théo Milioni, he's not at his best with 400,000 in front of him."It's okay, I've still got about fifteen blinds," he tells me, still confident. I naively ask him about the ambitious side of this shove."It's the best turn to shove, isn't it?" he slips in quietly, not at all traumatized by this big loss.
I met young Julien Wasilewski on Day 1D yesterday, and he's in the middle of a dream at the WaSOP Main Event, with a stack that's probably in the Top 5 at the time of writing. He told me that he had to wait until he was 21 before he could enter the Casino de Namur to play in the tournaments.

Ali down!
It was enough for me to make a post about him, drawing a comparison with Mohamed Ali, for Ali Nafaoui to take uppercuts in all directions and find himself with only 100,000 (4 blinds) in front of him at the break.
First, he opens with As-Kh in MP and is paid only by Hamoun Habibi from the big blind.
On the Ac-2d-3d flop, Ali c-bets to 35,000 and is checked/raised to 120,000 by his opponent. He decides to pay.
Both players check the 5c turn.
On the 5h river, Hamoun Habibi overbets to 400,000 in a 300k pot. Ali Nafaoui fails to fold his hand, dropping to 900,000 after his opponent reveals his 5d-4d for straight.
A few hands later, he opens in MP with Ah-Qh and gets paid only by Richard Koster from the small blind.
On the 3h-9c-6h flop that gives him the flush draw, Ali places a continuation bet of 45,000 and is checked/raised again. This time to 175,000. He opts for a call and finds the gin card on turn Jh.
Richard Koster continues his aggression by placing 275,000 in front of him. Ali sends in his stack for 650,000 effective, barely covering his opponent, who decides to pay him with 3c-3s for three of a kind.
A brutal 6x hits the carpet on the river, giving his opponent a full house and dropping Ali to 4 blinds.
Stunned, he came back from the break in 94th place in the Main Event to win €1,620.

Omar on his last legs
As recounted by Gaëtan Lheureux, Omar Lakhdari 's exit from the Main Event was just like what happened at his new table: a succession of bad timings.
Down to fifteen blinds, Omar sends his stack in with a pair of 9s after Fayssal Chakroun opens. The initial raiser pays him with a pair of queens and no miracle happens on the board.
"He can't win them all," Gaëtan tells me.

Haidar on the radar
Hicham Aourache faces Heda Raidar
Reda Haidar, still reeling from his difficult call to the tournament, tells me what enabled him to double his stack to 1.4 million with 87 players remaining in the WaSOP Main Event.
Following an open from Hicham Aourache at UTG 65,000 (with a stack of 1.8 million), Reda Haidar defends with big blind Kx-Jc (with a stack of 700k).
He then takes three big hits throughout the board Kx-7c-2c-4x-2x, 90,000 on the flop, 150,000 turn and 400,000 and carpet river.
He paid the first two bets without too much hesitation, but the river bet still caused him a major headache. He was even timed before he decided to pay, a winning call when his opponent held 9s-7s.

The happiest of men
Gaëtan Lheureux
Sometimes, survival in a tournament at poker really doesn't matter. Just ask Gaëtan Lheureux, who went from almost dying to a 1.5 million stack in the space of two hands.
On the first hand, he is very short when he decides to defend from the big blind following a 65,000 open from Niels Gybels UTG+1.
On the Qh-Ac-Jd flop, Gaëtan Lheureux checks/calls a 45,000 bet.
Both players check on the turn 9s.
On the 5d river, Niels Gybels raises to 100,000. Gaêtan has 260,000 left. If he pays and is wrong, he'll be left with 5 blinds.
He nevertheless decides to pay with Qc-4c for second pair, a winning call against 8c-8s at Niels Gybels.
Up to 700,000 after this move, he would go on to win the most classic of coin flips a few minutes later, after squeezing all-in with As-King of Hearts following a once-paid open. The original raiser pays with queens and the coin falls on Gaëtan's side.
He then went on to finish off Niels Gybels, who had gone short, by winning A-2 unmatched against a pair of 9s against his 4-blind stack, to climb to 1.8 million and make a clean sweep of the WaSOP Main Event.

Melin: 2-minute stop
Maxence Melin
Maxence Melin put in a fine short-stack ninja performance on Day 2 of the WaSOP Main Event, finishing in 71st place.
With 8 blinds left, he pushes his stack into a blinds battle against Jérôme Sgorrano with a more than decent hand, a nice pair of tens.
Unfortunately for him, Jérôme Sgorrano returns the Ladies.
A ten on the turn and Maxence Melin raises to 500,000 on Day 2 in a rather lucky move.
The next hand, Luca Pecoraro sends his 11-blind stack to the cut-off. Maxence Melin reshoves with As-King and faces As-Dix from his young opponent.
A 2-T-T-2-T table later and Luca Pecoraro deprived Maxence Melin of a 1 million pot.
Back to short-stacked, Maxence Melin will survive for a while before finding a spot to put his 5.5 blinds in the middle with King-Queen. Paid by Mohamed Sekh with As-King from the small blind, he thinks he can survive after the Q-T-4 flop, but the river is a J which gives his opponent the straight.
Maxence Melin puts in another fine deep run here in Namur and collects €1,865 for this 71st place finish.

Looking for Woody
Woody Christy
With a structure as beautiful as this Main Event, but with far more players than expected, the organizers are obliged to push late to ensure that tomorrow's day isn't too long. At 3 a.m., there are 43 players in the field on Day 2, and the day should be over by the end of the next level, or when the field drops to 32 players.
The last victim of this night of bustos was Woody Christy, who busted in two stages, first by losing a big flip with a pair of tens against Hicham Aourache's As-King, then in a battle of blinds As-Queen against King-5 at Mandrake's for his last 8 blinds.

Sacrebleu
By 3.20am, some of the players are getting tired. Some are making decisions that would probably not have been the same at the start of the day.
Roger Sacré may bitterly regret his last hand when, with a stack of around twenty blinds, he raised at the start of the hand then called a 3-bet out of position with Ah-7d to donk-bet shove on a 2c-7s-Qd flop when his opponent had Ad-Ax in his hand, a certain "Kubus Puchatek" as he wants to be called.
A regular at the Casino de Namur, where he plays in the €100 buy-in Sunday Deepstack events, he nevertheless achieved his best ever performance in this WaSOP Main Event, finishing 42nd for €2,140.

39 players return tomorrow for Day 3 of the Main Event
Day 2 of the WaSOP Main Event began with 443 players chasing the money, and ended with 39 players already guaranteed a minimum of €2,140, although it's unlikely they'll settle for just that. At the very top, there's €120,000 up for grabs, an insane sum when you consider that this is a €550-entry tournament.
Michal Kil
The chipleader at the end of the day was Hamoun Habibi with an impressive stack of 5,815,000, ahead of Luxembourg's Michal Kil who should have had much more had he not doubled up a player with As-Queens against Kings on one of the last hands of the day.
Quentin Destoky
Tomorrow's field promises to be a mouth-watering one, with Casino de Namur headliners such as Jérôme Sgorrano, Quentin Destoky and Samir Akhoullou, Belgian poker stalwart Guy Goosens, man-of-the-moment Charly Mouline, some talented young grinders like Théo Milioni and Thibaud Zeien, and many more to be discovered at tomorrow's resumption at 2pm.
Guy Goosens
Play resumes tomorrow at blinds 40,000 / 80,000 (BB Ante 80,000) for an average of 2,165,385. Levels will increase to 60 minutes and it could well be a very, very late finish with so many players present for this final day of competition. In any case, you'll have the pleasure of returning to Streaming with Will Lion at the helm as soon as the final table is set.
