The most expensive tournament of the WaSOP XII festival kicked off at 4 p.m. with the first of its two flights. Make way for the €1,100 High Roller!
39 entries were counted at the start of level 5, with 30 players currently competing in blinds 1000 - 2000 (2000), averaging 67 blinds.
Participants receive 100,000 chips and compete in 45-minute levels for the duration of the tournament. The final, which will be streamed, will be contested over one-hour levels...
Ten levels are on the program for the two opening days, with Day 1B starting on Tuesday August 1 at 4 p.m., and registration/re-entries open until the first hand of the second level on Day 2, level 12, which starts on Wednesday August 2 at 2.45 p.m.

Tom Dingenen dominates Day 1A, 54 entries before Day 1B
Day 1A of the €1,100 High Roller brought together 54 entrants, with 14 players finally bagging chips after 10 levels lasting 45 minutes.
Tom Dingenen multiplied his starting stack by a factor of 7, winning a big 4-bet pot with a big ace-high call against Yoann Argence. Among the survivors were regulars to Namur and the circuit, such as Pierre Neuville, Salvatore Alessi, Miguel Coussemenbt, Guy Goosens and SLimane Mameche...
Day 1B kicks off on Tuesday at 4 p.m. for another 10 levels... the junction takes place on Wednesday at 2 p.m. for level 11, at the end of which entries are closed.
Latecomers have until 2.45pm and the end of the first level of Day 2 to register for this €100,000 guaranteed tournament... a prize pool that will most likely be wiped out given the success of the satellites.
