In The Money

The last 13 survivors of the €250 Freezout are on break after a bubble of 9 deals hand for hand. It was the elimination of Yvan Marsus by Shana Oyen in 15th place that triggered hand 4 hand on two tables.

Valentin Vuaillat doubled up with Ace Valet against Ace 5 at Stefaan Skippers on the 6th hand, while on the next hand Tycho Damen's 9-blind open-shove on the button failed to find a taker.

No call either for Nicholas Ehl's 5-blind cutoff push on deal 8... and it was on the next hand that the matter was settled.

Jerome Neukermans found himself all-in with Jack Ten of Diamonds, in a blinds battle against Niels Moerenhout's 7s. Despite an Ace 4 8 flop with two diamonds and a King on the turn, the 9 will cause Jerome to be eliminated in 14th position.

Neukermans could have split the €395 min-cash as Remi Raimond was also all-in on the same hand but at the other table. Remi called all-in in the big blind with Kings after a push in the small blind to put pressure on Shana Oyen. The player turned over Queen Jack suit and despite a Queen on the turn, she didn't chat river.

Raimond therefore survives and leaves Neukermans to make the bubble on his own.

Play resumes with an average of 23 blinds at 11:45pm, with 10 minutes to play on 4000 - 8000 (8000) and an average of 23 blinds.

Damen Tycho lost his head's up after suffering at the bubble, but he did well in the final, as did Nikolas Ehl, who finished just off the podium...
