Day 1D Turbo kicks off

The fourth of six starting sessions for the WaSOP €330 SuperSide got underway at the Circus Casino Resort in Namur. The flight will be streamed over ten 25-minute levels.

Players receive 30,000 chips and play on the same structure - the levels are just shortened... 10 levels on the program, with registration open until 1.30 a.m. and the start of the 9th level.

17 players took part in a single round with no ante, including former blogger poker, Xavier Brioit aka CelticTouch.

We'll be back here for an update on participation at the end of the late registration period, and then after the close of play for a full chipcount of qualifiers (at around 2.30am). 

754 entrants before a big Sunday

705 entries after the first three SuperSide qualifying sessions, Day 1D Turbo gathered 49 entrants to boost attendance to 754 entrants before two busy flights on Sunday from 3pm.

There are still 23 players at three tables, with 27 minutes left to play and the final blind raise imminent. The survivors will battle it out over 1,000 - 2,500 (2,500) before packing up their chips to join the 142 qualifiers from the first three flights...

Dominique Potenza, Olivier Baeten, Fabien Perrot and Gaetano Moreci are at the outside tables, while one table is available for streaming... 

16 players pass the 1D Turbo, 158 qualify for Day 2 ahead of a big Sunday

The fourth of six starting sessions at the SuperSide WaSOP 2023 brought the tournament's provisional attendance to 754 entrants, enough to almost wipe out the €250,000 guarantee ahead of two final qualifying sessions that look set to be well attended, on Sunday at the Circus Casino Resort in Namur. 

The €330 side event saw 16 players complete Day 1D, the first Turbo session of the SuperSide. Run over 25-minute levels, Day 1D saw Fabien Perrot, Olivier Baeten, Gaetano Moreci and Ricardo Fadel all bag up chips for Monday's Day 2.
