Midnight Express for Johannes Boeren (€1,610)


Namur's Circus Casino Resort has added a late-night ultra-turbo tournament... to keep gamblers busy. Friday night's edition of the Midnight Express was a sell-out, with 102 entries in this €100 tournament played over 10-minute levels.

The story folded in just over 4 hours, and it was a Dutchman who put everyone in agreement, after a 3-way deal. Johannes Boeren officially took the win ahead of Belgium's Gaetano di Salvo and Tunisia's Mehdi Rebai, the trio each pocketing almost the same amount. 



Already victorious in a Ladies event in Namur, Alexandra Quach bowed out at the foot of the podium as the last 13 survivors went into the money.

Wesley Peinen and Remco Verbakel signed a new ITM without reaching the final, while Stephan van den Berg made the bubble (14th).

Belgian duo on the Midnight Express


Saturday night's Midnight Express drew 70 entrants, with two Belgians taking the lion's share of a €5,795 prize pool. Held over 10-minute levels with a midnight kick-off, this €100 Event #17 Summer Festival was marked by a great atmosphere and plenty of must-see moves for GTO fans.

Francesco and Antonino came to an agreement after the exit of France's Tom Sagnal and Luxembourg's Yann Nasser... As on the previous day, Stephan van Den Berg made the bubble. Stephan put it everywhere and his run stopped a little too early!
