13 half-hour levels are scheduled, with 4 levels and two hours to play before the first half-hour break between 5 and 5.30 p.m. Afterwards, the organizers will announce the day's schedule, with a dinner break split into two groyupes in view of the large turnout.

It's a holiday, everyone's here! Registrations and re-entries are permitted until the start of level 11, at around 10 p.m... For latecomers and the unlucky, last chances to qualify from 9.30 p.m. on Day 1F Turbo!

165 players have validated their ticket for Saturday's Day 2, which will be contested over 40-minute levels... and a ton of them are dreaming of joining them.

15:36

The first level ended with 280 players in the running for 282 entrants. The Ocean Room opened with 4 tables... then 4 new tables started filling up before the dealers were even in place.

Marc Hanesse, Jackie Hu, Somsong Intharanop, Claudio Guadgnino, Eric Goffin, Michele Galatola, Theo Erkamps, Louison Dury and Alexandra Kouao also feature in this massive flight. 18:48

Special lunch break

The last-chance opening day was moved back an hour, with a 10.30pm kick-off... the organization also communicated a shared dinner break.

The field was split into two groups. Players at tables 18 to 45 will take a dinner break at 7.05 p.m. for 75 minutes. During this time, the second group will play two levels...

At 8.05 p.m., the second group, made up of players from tables 101 to 118, will also go for a meal. A quarter of an hour later, the first group returns from their break to play two levels before joining up at 9.20pm...

18:55

Early Dinner

Another 10 minutes of play on level 7... and the first group will be leaving for a dinner break straight away. Players at tables 18 to 48 will have a 75-minute break after battling it out over blinds 600 - 1200 (1200).

Players in the secondary room will play two more levels before taking a 75-minute dinner break. The junction will take place on level 10, the last of the late registrations, from 9.20pm. Late reg' until 9.50 p.m. on Day 1E, with Day 1F Turbo starting at 10.30 p.m.!

These logistical considerations don't prevent the field from continuing to swell. There are currently 418 players in the running for 551 registrations on this huge flight. Provisional attendance is approaching 1,200 entries, with a prize pool of €241,000
