€600 High-Roller kicks off

Held entirely on half-hour levels, Spirit Fest High-Roller Event #9 began at 6 p.m... Shuffle up & deal for 11 levels, with late registration allowed until the end of the 12th level, and therefore until the end of the first level, on Sunday at 2.30pm.

Participants receive 50,000 chips and set off for 5 levels, heading for the 75-minute dinner break, starting at 8.40 p.m. The game starts on 100 - 200 (200), with over 100 players already in the running.

The 4th level of the €600 High-Roller is underway, with 14 players competing in blinds 200 - 500 (500). The average stack is 53,000 chips, with 155 entrants so far in Event #9, which is being run over two days and half-hour levels...

11 levels are on the schedule for the day, with late entries until the end of the first level of the Final Day on Sunday at 2.30pm...

Dinner Break

Players in the €600 Spirit Fest High-Roller Event #9 are on dinner break until 9:45pm... 139 players will return to compete on 300 - 700 (700) for the 6th of 11 levels on Day 1.

The average chip size is 64,000 and the prizepool has now reached €89,000 as the Circus Casino Resort in Namur has collected 179 entries so far.

Late registrations are permitted until the end of the first level on Day 2, Sunday 2.30pm... 

Upswing

With three levels and an hour and a half left to play, the numbers are climbing on the Spirit Fest €600 High Roller.

The Circus Casino Resort in Namur has registered 211 entries, while there is still time to register or re-enter until the end of the first level of Day 2, on Sunday at 2.30pm. There are still 137 players in the running in blinds 600 - 1200 (1200), with an average of 77,000.

There is now just over €104,000 in the prizepool to be shared between the winners on Sunday's Final Day... 

Remco Verbakel chipleader, entries still open

After falling just two places short of the money in the Main Event, Remco Verbakel was unstoppable in the €600 High-Roller, finishing on top after 11 30-minute levels. The Dutchman turned his starting 50,000 chips into a stack of 485,000. All the more reason to fire up the restart, as registration remains open for another 30 minutes from 2pm on Sunday.

Day 1 of Event #9 of the Spirit Fest was spread over 5 hours 30 minutes of poker and the Circus Casino Resort in Namur welcomed 219 players. This generated a provisional prizepool of just over €109,000!

85 players bagged chips, including Luc Ta, Fabien Garcia, Raphael Canta, Simon Perez, Samir Akhoullou, Heni Mokni, Morgan Poisson, Sergio Benso, Jhon Lienard and Franck verdonck.

Registration was open for the first level of the Final Day of the €600 Spirit Fest High-Roller Event #9... A further 19 entries were counted in, bringing thefinal tally to 238 for the most expensive tournament of the week.

85 players had entered on the opening day... and there are now 85 in the running for the final 1500 - 3000 (3000) level, with an average of 140,000 pawns. There's almost €118,000 in the prize pool, and the payout should be announced soon.

Miguel Coussement, Pierre Rahout, Joao Faira, Farukh Tach, Sebastien Gaubert and Joost Kuijpers will have no money to play for, but they'll all have a chance to make up for lost time on Sunday Deep' at 3.30pm, a fast-paced tournament featuring 50,000 chips and 15-minute levels for a buy-in of €150...

After a short break, play resumes with 63 players for 31 paid seats in the €600 Spirit Fest High-Roller. The blinds are 3000 - 6000 (6000) for an average of 189,000 chips. This is level 16, with a 70-minute dinner break at the end of level 22, just after 8pm...
