Bye Bye Van Den Broke

Dutchman Mathjis van den Broek goes out at the worst possible time, losing on the bubble of the €330 PLO Championship. Mathjis opens the action with a 10,000-chip raise paid once... and Kader Slila completes in the big blind.

The dealer unlocks a King-Queen-5 flop with a spade draw and the opener sends in 17,000 chips, a one-time paid bet before the floor goes back to Kader. Slila check-raises to 100,000 chips, van den Broek calls Pot for his stack of just over 250,000 chips and Kader pays with the max game and King King 5 4... The Dutchman returns Queen Queen 9 6 for a lower three of a kind without the flush draw!

The dealer unloads an 8 and a 2... and the 17 players still in the running secure a €500 payout. Kader Slila is up to 615,000 chips, with an average of 200,000 chips or 50 blinds!

3-way plan

Only three players remain in the €330 PLO Championship, all guaranteed a €3,630 payout. The trio's stacks are pretty much the same, with Kader Slila, Emmanouilis Chalkiotis and Etienne Bargibant holding firm.

Levi Vangoidsenhoven finished 4th after a huge encounter in which he had As 3 5 suite preflop. Emmanouilis turned over King King Queen 5 and the dealer flopped a King, an Ace on the Turn but the Jack river made the Cypriot straight!
