#Oktoberfest - Mystery Bounty Final

15:50
The skimming has begun
The €400 Oktoberfest Mystery Bounty comes to an end this Thursday at the Circus Casino Resort in Namur. A total of 43 players returned to the tables at 3pm...
9 players skipped in the first 50 minutes of play, including Morgan Poisson, Andreas Gondrom, Robertus De Wildt and WSOP winner Romain le Dantec.
17 players will enter the money, with the Mystery bonuses coming into play at this point. The Max bounty is €4,000, there's also a €3,000 bounty, a €2,200 CPS ticket, another €1,100...
The players will share out nearly €37,000, including a €19,000 prizepool or thereabouts...

16:20
Second Wave
One hour and 20 minutes of play since the resumption, they are now only 25 for 17 paid places after the disappearance of Fabien Richard.
Xavier Servais, Inigo Paulus, Fabrice Eneault, Gilles Magny and Olivier Carosella jumped. Qualified on Day 1D of the Main Oktoberfest, Charly Mouline had jumped into the Mystery Bounty in-extremis to finish with almost twice the starting stack... he was eliminated after just over an hour's play on Thursday.

17:20
La Bulle Approche
21 players have reached the first break. They will return to the 4000 - 8000 blinds (8000) with an average of 217,000 chips.
Chipleader at the start, Nicolas Destercq is still in the money with just over half a million chips. Pierre Neuville holds the lead with over 660,000 chips... Jesper van T Hoff seems to complete the podium, leading a small chasing pack with 300,000 chips...
Behind them, we're getting our butts in gear... or not. Kader Slila seems to have put himself out of danger by finding a big double-up with the Dames against the Dix at Fred Borgmans, who will take over with 43,000, at the back of the pack.
In the wake of this double-up, Kader opened then called a 3-bet shove with no equity in the small blind from Mohamed Boudazdit, winner of the last French Open. Boudazdit turned over 9 and Ten mismatched, finishing with a full house against Kader's pair of 7s to give himself some breathing space before the bubble.
In agony, Eric Boge was encouraged by his neighbor on the left. Steeve "Florida" Daulon was giving him some "you've got to believe, anything is possible", while not being at his best either. Last of the class, Boge fell in 22nd position after going all-in with 8's... he was paid by Ace 4 and Ace Queen, heading for the rail.

8 Minutes, 4 Outputs, 1 Bubble
Five minutes after the restart, Quentin Destoky was destacked, and there were only 20 of them left. Within three minutes, the €310 min-cash had been reached.
Last in the class, Fred Borgmans sent to the cutoff for 5 blinds with King 2 suit. With 12 blinds on the button, Kader Slila reshoved over the top with Ace 2... and Yoan Argence found Ace Queen in the big blind to pay and make a strike. Heading for half a million chips for Argence.
Meanwhile, on Steeve Florida's table, Julien Bruckels fell to Jonathan Dartevelle, a former resident of The House of Bluff.
The first envelope draws will take place at the next break, at around 7.30pm...

With 30 blinds, Youtubeur Julien aka JBZZ (pictured below) is in a good position, even if he's still behind Pierre Neuville and Mohamed Boudazdit, the latter of whom has moved on since entering the money...

Premier Draw, the 4K premium soars!
Thomas Denie was delighted to draw the first envelope... he went straight for the Max bonus at €4000 in front of his stunned opponents. There's still a €3000 bonus to be won, but that's suspense!
Next up was Jasper van T Hoof, who took the Extra 550€, a ticket to the year-end Circus Poker Series which gave him a second chance... during which he picked up 250€ in cash.
Julien aka JBEZZ took an eggplant, the maximum amount that came out next... The players took a dinner break until 9pm, with €10,000 of Mystery still to go.
Including the €3,000 bonus, the CPS Main Event Extra Ticket €2,200, the CPS Extra Ticket €1,100 and the €1,000 cash bonus... plenty to thrill the players in this €400 Mystery Bounty final, which attracted 114 players.

Dinner break
Play is paused until 9pm, when it will resume with 7 players averaging 651,000 chips in the 10,000 - 20,000 blinds (20,000).
Yoann Argence quickly gave up during the final, 3-bet shove 11 blinds from the small blind after Jasper's open bet paid by Pierre Neuville on the button. Jasper paid with Ace-Queen to beat the opponent's pair of 7s after a King 3 Jack 8 Ten board.
Ten minutes later, Jasper was more or less chipleader minus two blinds. Jasper van T Hoof engaged in a preflop raise battle with Thomas Denie, who ended up all-in with the 9s.
Jasper snap with the Aces, heading for the rail after a smashing river 9!

They won't climb on the Caisse
It took 18 minutes to go from 7 to 3 players... the Mystery Bounty final was played at a tremendous pace, much to the delight of Patrick Zallum, who pampered his shortstack to scrape up the tiers.
Pierre Neuville fell victim to Mohamed Boudazdit's aggressiveness. In the blinds battle, Mohamed opened and Pierre went all in with Ace-King from the big blind.
The Dutchman, winner of the French Open a month ago, snapped with the Ten to eliminate the WSOP Main Event finalist at the end of a headless table.
Another paid seat for Pierre, who cashed in for €1,280, enough to make the haters bite their tongues off... Nicolas Destercq, the chipleader going into the Final Day, also gave up the ghost.
There are no Belgians left in the tournament...

Mohammed Boudaznit wins again in Namur
The Mystery Bounty final was wrapped up in two hours. The last three players played for a few minutes before reaching a financial agreement. Mohammed Boudaznit then settled his two opponents in a flash.
The trio pooled their bounties and played for the €2,200 CPS ticket remaining in the prize pool. Mohammed Boudaznit then eliminated Thomas Denie and Patrick Zallum.
It all went down the middle on the turn against Denie. Thomas had Top Pair and was facing a flush draw and a pair of 5s at the winner of the French Open.
A 5 river gave Mohamed a monstrous stack for the head's up. Thomas had drawn the bounty Max at 4000€, he finally pocketed a total of 8 895€ following this ICM deal..
After two hands, the final duo struck a new deal, Mohammed giving up the equivalent of €600 worth of vouchers to the electronic machines in exchange for the trophy and the €2,200 CPS ticket. Insolently successful, Mohammed had also drawn the €3,000 bonus just before the 3-way deal!
Winner of the Tripick Magnum, Boudaznit finally pockets €9,316 in cash and a €2,200 CPS ticket.... which he already has, having won one last month with his success on the French.
No bonus until an hour from the end, Patrick Zallum (above) made it all the way to the final duel, pocketing a total of €4,228 in cash. and a ton of €100 vouchers for use on Circus Casino Resort machines.
