Event #29 Belgian Poker Challenge 550€ DeepStack ends this Monday at Circus Casino Resort in Namur. 139 entrants generated a prizepool of €62,523 to be shared between the last 20 players in the running...

The min-cash is €800 and the win €15,532 to end the festival on a high note... The game is played over 2000 - 5000 (5000) with an average of 173,000 chips, there are still 40 players in the running with a conclusion to be followed live on the German xflix stream. After Walter van Camberg's double-up from behind, things came to a head at 22 left in DeepStack 550€ Event #29 of the Belgian Poker Challenge.

As the hand-by-hand action got underway, Khalid Aouam found himself all-in in the big blind. The small blind pushed a high Queen which was enough to eliminate Khalid and his Jack 3...

With three tables in the tournament, Salvatore Alessi went all-in at the same time for his last blinds... just to his left BPC Main Event semi-finalist Migue Coussement woke up with Kings.

Salvatore's suitered A7 did find a 7 on the flop, but the rest of the board led to the entry into the money. €800 guaranteed for the survivors of this end-of-festival side event.

Play resumed with 11 minutes to go on the 8,000 - 16,000 blinds (16,000) and an average of 347,000 chips with 30-minute levels. The race for the €15,533 first prize begins... it's the second bubble of the festival for Salvatore, who was eliminated in worst place in the opening BPC Cup...

With David Garcet, Miguel Coussement, Mehidi Sahli, Rayane Ben Mohamed and Dario Sorrenti in the final, a Belgian can win Event #29 of the Belgian Poker Challenge. They'll have to beat Nikolas Krause, Inaki Gonzales and Sami Agel, the last foreign competitors in this tournament, which attracted 139 entries over two days. The final round is played over 30-minute levels, with an average of 13 blinds. Players stretch the structure to the max, and it's Xavier Servais who has bubbled the final table...
