Bryan is in the Lead
Superb start for Bryan de Riddere, who hastened Salvatore Alessi's exit from the track. There are now 16 players in the field for 17 entrants, with Level 2 still underway... and Bryan is ahead of the game. He's up to 242,000 chips for an average of 106,000!
"I open 2500 chips and an Asian player calls on the button, Alessi defends in the big blind before donk 6000 on an 8 7 2 flop with no flush draw," Bryan begins before pointing out that nobody folds. "The turn 6 opens a spade flushdraw, Salvatore bets another 6,000, I pay and the third player raises to 22,000 chips. Call from Alessi, I raise to 46,000 to make the asiat' fold and Alessi hesitates before paying," continues de Riddere who discovers a magnificent river heart 2.
After a check from Alessi, Bryan goes all-in with 9 and ten of hearts for a straight. Salvatore pays with the jacks to find himself crippled? De Riddere was then moved to another table for a big hit and run!
Arnaud Peyroles arrived in the field...

Despite a shaky start, the first of three opening days of the €1,100 Mystery Bounty Event #6 eventually attracted 47 entrants. Well on schedule to smash the event's €100,000 guarantee.
Bryan de Riddere got off to a flying start and was in the lead until two hands from the end... only to be overtaken by Ken Claessens, who had floundered at the turn of an explosive 3-way at the start of the day, a move which enabled de Riddere to take the stack from Salvatore Alessi.
In the end, 15 players made it through the 7 hours 30 minutes of poker. After the final 4 hands, Arnaud Peyroles (below), David Kahan, Max Melin, Pierre Neuville and Farukh Tach all booked their tickets for Day 2...
