14 Qualifiers on Day 1E

The fifth BPC starting day was contested over 11 25-minute levels, and after an unsuccessful attempt on Day 1D, Miro Alilovic did well to fork out for this Turbo version of the opening day.

Miro finished hot on the heels of the Day 1E chipleader, bagging up 305,000 chips after a day that saw 14 players qualify for Thursday's 1 p.m. Day 2. The Frenchman will have more than 100 blinds when he resumes play on 1000 - 2500 (2500), following closely on the heels of Dutchman Nam van Loon (317,000)

With 38 participants, the provisional attendance stands at 643 entrants ahead of what promises to be a massive Wednesday with two qualifying sessions (at 1 p.m. on 50-minute levels and from 9 p.m. on 25-minute levels, editor's note). So far, 205 players have validated their ticket for the rest of the competition...
