Severine Demory Queen of the Ladies

The €110 Ladies Championship Belgian Poker Challenge brought together 25 Queens at Namur's Circus Casino Resort on Saturday evening. Severine Demory took the trophy and an 833€ ticket, her first live success. 

The Belgian captured most of a €2,183 prizepool after a final duel with Saloumeh Hosseini. The tournament rewarded 5 players, all Belgians! 

Namur regular Ekin Kandemir made the bubble... while Shana Oyen, Heidi Croonenborghs and Nathalie Gervais left empty-handed. 

"I'm happy, the girls were nice," confided the winner a few minutes after her first live success. "I hadn't played for 4 years, I had a little baby... I don't realize it until I've got the trophy," finished the champion before heading off to the photo shoot.
