Registration is closed for the sixth of eight starting days in the €250 Holiday Main Event. Only 29 of the 53 Day 1F entrants remain, with five quarter-hour levels still to play.

Level 11 has just got underway, and is being played over 1500 - 3000 (3000) with Farid Azarkan, Greg Dewinne, Anne Trebitsch, Ruben Steenhuis, Sabrina Senden, Dominique Potenza, Stephane Meo and Ismael Joly still in the running.

Aldabert Buhl, who lost out on a square-against-square confrontation, consoled himself with the lion's share of the Badbeat Jackpot bonus, i.e. just over €24,000... he's still in the running for a ticket to Day 2 on Saturday, September 7...

15 levels of 15 minutes have elapsed, and the field of 53 entrants to Day 1F Turbo has been reduced to 13 survivors. Anne Trebitsch, Greg Dewinne, Raphale Canta, Franklin Noormohamed, Ismael Joly and Celestin Wijnants rallied for Saturday's Day 2 in the wake of Dutchman Kenneth Brocheler (photo).

On Thursday, a total of 57 players validated their ticket for Saturday 2pm, bringing the number of qualifiers for the payday to 158. Friday is traditionally the busiest day of the week, so the guarantee is sure to go through the roof!
