Event #13 Pot Limit Omaha at €550 per entry got underway on Saturday at 6pm in the Salle Océan at the Circus Casino Resort in Namur. The 100-entry mark and €50,000 guarantee was passed during Level 4... registration is open until the end of Level 8, just before 1am.

The game is played over two days and 45-minute levels, with 9 levels on the program for this opening day. 63 players are in the running on Level 5, with 113 registered so far... the prize pool has climbed to €54,000!

Day 2 kicks off on Sunday at 3pm... at the moment, Rayane Moktavarium, Sabare Atmani, Ali Bilgin, Dominique Potenza, Fabien Perrot, Jean Yip, Daniel Dodet, Mihai Stinca and Daniel Tordjman are all in the money!

Play was stopped after 9 levels of 45 minutes on PLO Event #13 of the Circus Poker Series. WSOP Circuit winner Daniel Dodet missed out on the Final Day!

This €550 PLO tournament, played over two days with 45-minute levels, finally attracted 151 players for a final prize pool of €70,000. Out with the €50,000 guarantee!

There are still 31 players in the running, who will return on Sunday at 2 p.m. on blinds 1000 - 2000 (2000), with an average of 64 blinds. Far from over!

Winner of the Namur Classics 2022 and WSOP Circuit champion on the Venlo Main Event in May 2024, the Dutchman even thought he was in the lead. It was Germany's Tommy Steinmueller who took the prize, which guarantees nothing...

Verboten Michel

The bubble is for Michel Verboven (photo) in this €550 PLO Event #13. There were 31 players at the start for 20 paid places, and it took 2 hours 30 minutes to keep the players in the money.

After the exit of Jelle Huysmans (22nd), play continued for another hour on three tables before Michel Verboven was defeated with As As 3 3 doubled up. After a twice-paid raise, Rex Rajakumar pot to 24,000 chips with Ace 9 Jack Ten and a call... Michel Verboven pot over for 60,000 chips with 25,000 behind and Rajakumar called.

It all came down to a 2 Ten Jack flop with two spades (nobody had that flush draw, ed), the last chips went in the middle and turn 5 and river 9 changed nothing, they were down to 20 assured of a €1,020 payout.

13 minutes left to play on blinds 2000 - 5000 (5000) with 14 players in contention averaging 302,000 chips. Chipleader at the start of the day, Tommy Steinmueller is still there, as are Bilal Marzouk, Mohamed Assaoui, Ali Bilgin, Denis Colin, Daniel Tordjman, Dominique Potenza and Riad Bennamar...
