14:42

La Grande Lessive

The game resumed at 12:30 with 178 players... 119 of whom took a break after two 50-minute levels.

Play resumes at blinds 3,000 - 6,000 (6,000), not far from the 87 paid places and the start of the Mystery Bounty format, which will feature 2 envelopes with €30,000 mystery bonus Max

Among the fifty or so victims at the start of the day were WSOp winner Romain le Dantec, French Open champion Mohammed Boudazdit, Mark Roovers, Johnny Nedved, Djamal Boutaleb, Matthias de Mulder, Claiude Mamalepot, David Docherty, Kader Slila, Miro Alilovic, Daniel Dodet and Eric Lescot.

15:36

20 Victims to Find

There are 107 players left on the Mystery Bounty, and the 4th level of the day has just begun.

The Mystery Bounty now takes place in blinds 4000 - 8000 (8000) with an average of 271,000, i.e. still over 30 blinds... the money is so far so near with 87 places paid for a min-cash of €905.

Mattias Landuyt, Antoine Polido, Levent Efe, Benjapol Suntornvibul, Michal Kil, Christopher Marcadet and Alexandre Viard jumped from the last break...

16:27

Bubble

91 players remain for 87 paid places, while the blinds have just climbed to 5,000 - 10,000 (10,000).

There's an average of 32 blinds and it's close to the pennies for this final group. Bart Maes, Corentin Barbosa, Damien Hupé, Kjelle Baillieu and Michael Nowak leave empty-handed...

16:56

Three for a min-cash

As Tom Dingenen jumps into 90th position and the floor announces the cessation of play on all tables, Fabian Hartusck is in sickness on a Dame Valet 3 Dix 4 board where he has bet. Matthias van Der Perre almost pushed him all-in and Fabian tanked for a long time. They are now 89 in action, while other hands are finishing on the other tables, with Fabian preferring to fold.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Abdellatif watches as the player under the gun opens hostilities at his table. The button calls and Jonathan finds the Ten in the big blind with 29 blinds. All-in for Abdellatif... and a call from Konstantin Faerber on the button, who turned over the Jacks to eliminate the man who is 7th on the Belgian All Time Money List.

Omar Lakhdari went all-in straight from the small blind, putting the big blind to the test. Covered, Marcus Schilling snap... at showdown a few minutes later he turned over a pair of Aces. Omar's mismatched Ten and 8 will be drawing dead on the flop!

At the next table, Morgan Duquenoy goes all-in with his shortstack and Paul-François Tedeschi reveals the Kings after Idir Haiche's tank-fold. Morgan is behind with the tens and will rster him one board later. Off to the rail for a second outing on a second Mystery Bounty table.

Another move degenerated into an all-in & call. At the cutoff, Yassine Romain bet 25,000 chips on Valet 7 Valet Dame and was check-raised by Abdel Lamrani. Yassine eventually called for his all-in with Kings... behind the Full House with Abdel's 7, who continued his fine tournament run one brick river later.

Jonathan Abdellatif, Morgan Duquenoy and Yassine Romain jumped onto different tables in 89th, 88th and 87th place for 87 paid seats... so they share the €960 min-cash. That'll be €320 each, gentlemen!

By the time I write this, the popcorn moment has begun and there are only 73 players left with a few minutes to go before the break. The game is being played over 5,000 - 10,000 (10,000) and the first envelope draw will take place at the break.

See you on the poker room's Instagram for a live feed with 2 €30,000 bonuses and more great envelopes to be gleaned.

The 20-minute break began after the first bounty draw... Play has resumed with 64 players out of the 586 Mystery Bounty entrants, with blinds now at 6,000 - 12,000 (12,000).

The players still in contention for the title and the €60,000 cheque that goes with it will play three 50-minute levels before play is stopped. The second Mystery Bounty draw will follow at 8.25pm.

Once this has been completed, the 75-minute lunch break will begin...

18:16

First Draw

24 envelopes were put up for grabs in the first Mystery Rewards draw for Event #13 of the CPS festival at €1,100 a ticket.

There's still €190,000 in the prize pool after this first draw, since the two €30,000 envelopes haven't fallen.

Chipleader at the end of Day 1CJohannes Rob always has a big stack and he put it into action after the bubble, eliminating three players. Rob drew a €15,000 envelope and a €7,500 envelope, the second and third highest stakes!

Wim Verhaegen also claimed three victims within 25 minutes of the bubble bursting, and was slightly less successful in the draw, taking "only" a €2,500 bonus (the 4th highest value at stake, ed. note), a €1,000 bonus and a "standard" €500 bonus.

In danger at the bubble, i la double over Omar Lakhdari with the Aces, Marcus Schilling also made a scalp at the popcorn moment. He turned this into 7500€ cash!

Note that the first draw was made by Paul-François Tedeschi, one of the executioners of the three players who shared the €960 min-cash because they came out on three different tables on the same hand at the bubble. The deal was simple, this mystery bonus was to be shared between the 3 executioners... PFT came up trumps with one of the 46 €500 envelopes!

18:30

They collect €1,105

The skimming continues on Event #13 Mystery Bounty at €1,100 per entry, and we take a look at the second-tier eliminated players, who left the game with €1,105 more in their bankroll...

Top 50

The blinds have just been raised to 8,000 - 16,000 (16,000) with 48 players in contention for an average of 600,000 chips.

Omar Lakhdari took the door in 50th place after 3-bet shove 25 blinds with 8s. The opener paid with ace-queen to hit a queen river and take out the 2023 BPC winner. Heading for the rail for €1,275 for the Emperor of Paris!

Same verdict for Marcus Schilling (49th). The Swiss made the money on the Circus Cup and again on the Crazy Pineapple last night, and also took €7,500 in the first draw of the Mystery Bounty. Schilling won't be taking part in the second draw, having jumped on a big flip with 70 blinds in the middle.

His pair of Jacks shattered on a King-Jack 3 6 4 board... his opponent had Ace-King of clubs and after a club on the flop, the dealer unwrapped a turn club and then a final river club!

The big stacks include Adrien Guyon, Maxence Melin, Abdel Lamrani and Antonio Cabanas, with stacks of just over a million chips, or a block of 60 blinds...

19:37

They collect €1,275

Raoul van Wersch went all in with ten and nine of clubs on an ace-high flop with two clubs, and Mark Bongaerts paid with ace-king to take out his opponent two bricks later. All in all, the 39 Mystery Bounty survivors won €1,465.

Paul-François Tedeschi, Vincent Gabel, Denis Charlier, François-Louis Vlassis, Arno Coene and Vincent Gabel are among the latest to be eliminated...

PFT has moved all in to form a 200-blind pot... He opened Ace 5 suiter in MP and saw the big blind defend before checking-raise to 2 3 4 with two clubs. With the nuts, the Frenchman raised to 160,000 chips... and Rob Johannes went all-in for 1.2 million. Call from Tedeschi who uncovers Ace Ten of clubs for a draw that will go in behind... after drawing two big bonuses on the first draw, Johannes goes chipleader with this move!

The 75-minute dinner break begins at the end of the second bonus draw, a draw to follow on Instagram.

26 players out of 586 reached the dinner break on Day 2. Resuming at 9.50pm on blinds 10,000 - 25,000 (25,000) with an average of 1.1 million... the survivors are guaranteed a €1,935 payout for making it through this stage.

Rob Johannes continues his razzia. The Dutchman followed up his perfect first draw, in which he took €15,000, with 5 envelopes and another big one, this time for €7,500.

Nisad Muratovic took over from him to draw one of the €15,000 envelopes! Marco Meisser didn't do so well, but he too will console himself with a €7,500 draw... After twenty envelopes, Michael Ender came in for the first €30,000 jackpot, even though he was suffering from seeing 5-figure envelopes come out of the game!

Already qualified for the CPS Main Event, Firat Baltaci picked up a €2,200 ticket in this draw, and Abad Martinez followed suit before heading off for a bite to eat.

Around €160,000 remains in the Mystery prize pool, including a €30,000 Max bonus.

They collect €1,685

They didn't make it to the dinner break, and they believed in it on this tournament which will reward its winner with €60,000 (excluding prize money). In particular, we lost Germany's Wietse Hasper, who had shown a very good level of play on Day 1C...

Resumption at 9:50 p.m. without this quartet... It's going to play until 18 or 16 left...

28th - Jimmy Vancutsem
29th - Matthieu Rigolot
30th - Cihad Yekta
31st - Wietse Hasper

21:54

Resuming

Play resumed a few minutes late on the Mystery Bounty, as the absentees from the previous draws went envelope-hunting, and Samuel Ju didn't come for nothing.

The German drew an envelope for €15,000 before going back to his seat to relax! The game resumed on 10,000 - 25,000 (25,000)...

22:02

Les Papiers

Mathias Moutaoukil is the first to fall after the break. On the restart Mathias finds Ace Ten on the button and min-raises to 50,000 chips with 725,000 chips in total.

In the big blind, WSOP winner Tobias Peters 3-bets to 180,000 chips. Mathias pushes his stack and is snapped by two queens... heading for the exit one board later. Moroccan Mathias Moutaoukil, a Cup finalist with a 5-figure win, follows up with a €1,935 win.

Tobias climbs to almost 2 million, finally holding a mystery prize!

22:05

Raoul Refoulé

Raoul Refos finishes in 24th position. The Dutchman defends in the big blind with 19 blinds after an open MP paid by Marco Meisser (photo) on the button.

The trio discover a Jack 3 5 flop on which Marco takes the initiative for 2 blinds... and no one cracks up at this 100,000-chip bet. On turn 4, it's the same story, with two checkers and a 200,000-chip bet from Meisser.

This time, Raoul goes all-in with Ace 2 and the opener discards. Snap call from the Swiss to the button, who returns 6 and 7 for the nuts. Direction a stack of 3 million chips for Meisser and the rail for Refos.

There are still 23 players guaranteed a €2,225 payout, while the average is 53 blinds with 37 minutes to play on 10,000 - 25,000 (25,000) and 23 players...

They collect €1,935
24th - Raoul Refos
25th - Sergio Benso
26th - Mathias Moutaoukil
27th - Luis Rosero

22:37

Seum Time

Belgium has just lost 4 players in a row... fortunately Ferdinando D'Alessio is holding his own at the top of the tournament with just over 3 million chips.

There are 15 minutes left to play on 10,000 - 25,000 (25,000) and the table shows 19 players in contention for an average of 1.5 million chips.

20th - Farid Chati - €2,560
21st - Antonio Cabanas - €2,225
22nd - Mathias van Der Perre - €2,225
23rd - Mathieu Desmet - €2,225

22:43

Antonius again in the Avants-Postes

Antonius Krijn is less well known than his Finnish namesake, but in Namur we've been getting to know each other... since June 2023. The Dutchman won the WaSOP High Roller for €38,500, followed it up in the summer with the Havana High Roller for €24,000, then finished 3rd in the French Open in September for €27,000!

90,000 at poker in Namur over the last 5 months, a big performance which could well be followed by another as Antonius has just scalped Mark Bongaerts.

The two men fall into each other's arms after Tony's Aces hold up against the opposing Ace King. "He took me out of the Cup on the same hand... he plays every hand and has the Aces when I have Ace King," laughs Bongaerts as he joins the rail in 19th place for a €2,560 payout.

Frenchman Antoine Stacko was the next to go down in 18th place, leaving just 17 players with a €2,940 prize.

45 minutes left to play in blinds 15,000 - 30,000 (30,000) with an average of 1.7 million...

23:18

A 3-Player Plan to Finish

Wim Verhaegen bubbled on Day 3 and bowed out in 17th place in the Mystery Bounty for €2,940. There were 3 all-in on this hand with Marco Meisser covering everyone with the best hand!

The Swiss opens at the cutoff with 35 minutes left to play on 15,000 - 30,000 (30,000). Wim Verhaegen goes all-in in the small blind for 420,000 in response... and in the big blind Iuri Brechalov reshoves 650,000 counters.

Marco hesitates a little before calling with Ace-Queen of clubs and discovers King-Jack mismatched with Wim and King-Queen mismatched with Iuri...

The dealer unravels a King-Queen-Ten flop which eliminates no one, the 5 of clubs opens an additional draw on the turn to Meisser who bricks river on a 7 of spades.

Shoo Wim Verhaegen to 1.7 million for Brechalov. Meisser drops to 3 million as play is paused until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday for the Mystery Bounty Final Day.

Day 3 participants are guaranteed a €2,940 payout, as they battle for the trophy over 60-minute levels on Wednesday.

23:27

Ferdinando D'Alessio chipleader at 16 left, another €67,000 in bonuses

Runner-up to Lucien Cohen at the Estrellas in Barcelona for just over €400,000, Ferdinando d'Alessio leads the €1,100 Mystery Bounty heading into the final day. He will resume with 3.4 million chips and an average of 1.8 million with 35 minutes to play on 15,000 - 30,000 (30,000), Wednesday from 12:30 pm.

Two other Belgians have qualified, Michael Ender will have a big stack... and he's already captured one of the two €30,000 Max bonuses in the tournament! James Willems will be trying to make a name for himself, as he already has an online nickname. Willems has also picked up a handsome €5,000 bonus...

Three nationalities have three representatives, Germany two, while the others have to make do with one champion. With three players, the Dutch can look forward to another triumph in Namur. Rob Johanns will lead the troops with over 80 blinds. Rob has captured (among other things) a €15,000 bonus, a €7,500 bonus and stuck a big bad-beat to Paul-François Tedeschi at 50 left in a huge pot... the run is good! Johanns will be joined by Antonius Krijn, also with a big stack in Namur, a casino where he has taken €90,000 over the last 5 months. The last Dutchman in the running, with a stack above the average of 60 blinds, is WSOP champion Tobias Peters!

Three Frenchmen are also still in the running, but they're all in the bottom third of the leaderboard. Two-time FPO winner Adrien Guyon, who was crowned champion in Pornic a few days ago, will be back at the back of the pack, but with 20 blinds to fall back on! Maxence Melin, despite his 13th stack at the start, will have 33 blinds to try and reach the final.

Egyptian Rami Awad loves Mystery Bounty, having won the French Open in September, and captured a €5,000 bounty on Day 2. He'll be back on Final Day with over 50 blinds... 67,000€ in prizes still up for grabs on Final DayThese include a €30,000 Max bounty, 1 €7,500 bounty, 3 €5,000 bounties, 3 €2,500 bounties and 1 CPS Main Event ticket.
