They're still coming

With 5 minutes left to play on blinds 200 - 500 (500), level 4 comes to a close with 155 players in contention for 182 entrants.

Some regular players from French casinos have arrived, including Idir Haiche, who remains on a Top 3 ranking at Club Circus Paris , and Paul-François Tedeschi.

Jean Yip, Kostya Zaks, Javey Timmer, Pierre Tilmant and Tonino Schmitz have also found the room where this Day 1C is taking place.

The €500,000 guarantee has not yet been reached, but there is already €430,000 in the prize pool. At the moment, there's €249,000 in the prizepool and €181,000 in the Mystery Prize pool!

Table of Death

Nice table with Mathias de Meulder, Yannick Ansenne, WSOP winner Tobias Peters, David Docherty and Joseph Bardakji who has just arrived from Paris...

But this table is right next to what is probably the most beautiful table on Day 1C... yet.

We go in order of seating:

- Mathias Moutaoukil, who just made the Circus Cup final
- Jean Yip who just finished 3rd in the PLO CPS at €550 per entry
- Miro Alilovic, among others winner of the EPT Estrellas High Roller Barcelona 2022
- Mercedes Osti, who is coming off an APO festival final at the Club Circus Paris
- Mohammed Boudazdit, winner of the French Open in Namur in September
- Aksel Aygun, Top 60 All Time Belgium notably 3rd at WSOPE Colossus 2018
- Paul-Franois Tedeschi and his 3.6 million live winnings
- Alexis Lucarini, a young online shark who won two BPT Paris finals and an EPT Paris 2023 deep-run...

Suffice to say, Miro wasn't too happy to get there! With 5 minutes left to play in Level 5, the incoming counter had passed the 190 mark.

153 are currently in the running, while the blinds are still 300 - 600 (600) for a few minutes...

19:04

Say 200

With 25 minutes left to play on blinds 400 - 800 (800), the dinner break is almost upon us.

With 152 players in the field and 202 entrants, it's no surprise that Day 1C is shaping up to be the biggest of the €1,100 CPS Mystery Bounty Event #13.

There's almost €450,000 in the prizepool, with the €500,000 guarantee well on the way to being wiped out with a Turbo 1D starting at 9pm...

At the moment, there's €260,000 in the prizepool and a mystery prize pool of €189,000...

Skirmish

Open from Miro with 1,600 chips, call from Mercedes Osti just to his left and call from PF Tedeschi on the button... in the small blind Alexis Lucarini raises the stakes to 7,000 chips.

Only PFT gives up his cards and 3 of them discover the Queen 9 2 flop without a flush draw. Alexis check-raises 19,000 chips after a 7,000 MIro bet paid by Mercedes... which makes Miro hesitate for at least 5 minutes.

Miro finally throws down and Mercedes pays after some thought too. No more action on the 7 of diamonds turn, which opens a flush draw, nor on the 7 of hearts river. Alex turns King Dame off and Mercedes mucke...

Lucarini climbs to 100,000 chips, while Mercedes drops back to 50,000...

With 8 minutes left before the dinner break, we meet again before 8.45pm for a chipcount and an update on the entries before play resumes on 500 - 1000 (1000)...

20:29

Dinner Break

The dinner break began an hour ago, and at the moment 50 players for 208 entries will be returning to battle it out over blinds 500 - 1000 (1000) with an average of 69,000 chips.

There's still plenty of time to get in on the action, with registration open until 11.05pm and the start of level 10. A Turbo 1D, contested over 12 levels of 20 minutes each, will start at 9 p.m... which should make it possible to sail towards the €500,000 guarantee.

At the moment, there's almost €460,000 in the player-generated pot!

230 Entries on Day 1C

The €500,000 Mystery Bounty guarantee should be cleared as the dinner break draws to a close. Play resumed 50 minutes ago and 140 players are now competing on 500 - 1500 (1500), with 240 entries on this penultimate starting day. The prizepool collected has climbed to €483,000!

The average is 82,000 chips and Raphael Canta will have to re-enter if he wants to move on to Day 2, which starts on Tuesday at 12:30 pm.

The Mystery Bounty format will be set in motion at the money entry, at approximately 15% of the remaining field...

A Tour of Namur

A few minutes remain in blinds 500 - 1500 (1500) with 135 players for 239 entrants and an average of 89,000 chips. Let's go for a tour of the room.

The biggest move brought Abdel Lamrani up to 280,000 pawns. With Damien Hupé just to his left getting massaged with the starting stack, Abdel limped in MP. At the cutoff, Oktoberfest winner Axel Santoni pushes his 15 blinds with ace deuce suiter. On the button, Erik Bauer discovers the queens with just over 100,000, all in! Abdel pays instantly by turning over Kings... He confirms on a King flop and rakes in a ton two bricks later.

Nice table at the back of the room with Christopher Marcadet (60,000), Adrien Di Grande in trouble (15,000), Dove Monaco at the starting stack, Daniel Dodet with 100,000 but also Jeroen Leuver at 255,000 already. Wietse Hasper also confirms his good start with a head's up river shove which makes his opponent snap fold into a good pot... towards 230,000 chips.

At the table of death featured earlier in the report, Mathias Moutaoukil took on Paul-François Tedeschi before eliminating Jean Yip in a three-handed encounter to climb to 200,000 chips. Kostya Zaks has been transferred here, and the Parisian amateur is currently watching with 110,000 already in the bag...

Mercedes Osti (80,000) has been moved just to the left of Idir Haiche (70,000), with whom she is in deep discussion. At the next table, Pieyr Maggi is eyeing the stack of his neighbor on the right who has ten times more than him, Luis Romero (200,000).

Fred Blehaut (200,000) and Wim Verhaegen (160,000) reign supreme at their table, next to Abdel Chenoufi (50,000) and Firat Baltaci (140,000).

Claude Mamalepot is in the corner, but he's not forgetting to chip up (100,000), while Tobias Peters (220,000) is enjoying himself at Mathias de Meulder's table (50,000)...

22:26

Guarantee exceeded (€509,000)

The €500,000 guarantee is cleared on the Mystery Bounty at €1,100 per entry.

There are 20 minutes left to play on 1000 - 1500 (1500) with 131 players for 249 entries on Day 1C... and it's already level 4 on Turbo 1D (12 levels of 20 minutes) where 16 players out of 17 entries are battling it out to join Day 2 on Tuesday lunchtime 30...

Last Break

Last break of Day 1C with 125 players on the counter for 250 entrants... when the 1000 - 2000 (2000) resumes, registration will be closed. There's still almost 2 hours to late reg' the 1D Turbo which started at 9pm, enough to further boost a prize pool that stands at €513,000 for a €500,000 guarantee!

Just before the break Ugo Faggioli disappeared after a 3-barrel bluff. Yassine Romain opens under the gun at 4000 and pays Ugo's 3-bet just to his left. Ugo then sends in 8,500, 21,000 then all-in on a 7 3 9 King 3 board with no flush draw on the flop or turn. Yassine snap river with 7s to climb to 240,000 chips at the break. With Ace Valet, Ugo joins the rail...

With everyone on the break, the last move in the room sees Mathias Moutaoukil value 25,000 chips with As Valet and Kostya Zaks call-muck to reach the break with 100,000 chips. The Circus Cup finalist climbs to 270,000.

Adrien di Grande and Alex Viard seem to have given up the ghost and will probably have to head to the Turbo to get back on track...

With 35 minutes left to play on blinds 1000 - 2000 (2000), registration is closed on this penultimate starting day.

With 125 players in the running and a total of 251 entrants, it's no surprise that Day 1C has been the busiest of the €1,100 CPS Mystery Bounty Event #13.

There's almost €518,000 in the prizepool, and the €500,000 guarantee has been wiped out with a Turbo 1D that currently has 23 entrants...

Last Straight

There are just under two levels left to play on Mystery Bounty 1C, blinds are now 1000 - 2500 (2500) and the field has dropped to 111 players.

With entries still open for the Turbo 1D- Mercedes Osti has just entered after skipping Day 1C - the prizepool has climbed to €527,000!

Here's a look at some of the stacks we've picked up here and there... The table featuring Moroccan Mathias Moutaoukil (€275,000), Kostya Zaks (€150,000) and Mohammed Boudazdit (€200,000) was broken.

Bart van Heugten (70,000) saw Matslides take control of his table (130,000), which also featured France's Alex Viard (70,000).

Thibault Reverdito (120,000), Yassine Romain (285,000), Alexis Lucarini (35,000) and Raoul Refos (100,000) are still with us, with just over an hour to go.

Stan van Dijk has just taken out Dang Nguyen and Thomas Denie on the same move to climb to 243,000 chips... a ton at this level of the tournament...

00:05

Top 100

With an hour of play left on Day 1C, the final level of the day is drawing nearer...

The counter drops to 100 players after Abdel Chenoufi leaves the table to join Miro (80,000) and Pierre Neuville (170,000).

On this side of the room, we find Damien Hupé at 80,000 chips. The Poker One boss attempted a raise under the gun paid for by the Cutoff and Abdel Lamrani in the big blind (350,000). Damien bets Valet Ten Brick and is called only by the OC, there will be no more action on a double up of 3 turn and river.

"Were you paying me?" asks Damien, revealing King-Queen while his opponent shows Ten and 8 of diamonds to take the pot...

The average is 125,000 chips and only the Turbo 1D (registrations until midnight 40) to try and reach Day 2 nin-extremis. Franck Pellous, Iman Ghashayar, Joseph Bardakji, Marco Trijaud, Konstantin Ifrim, Fabian Kunze or Bart van Heugten have no alternative but to try to take their share of a prize pool now 532,000€ !

00:21

Last Level

The blinds have just been raised to 1500 - 3000 (3000), the last 40-minute level on the third and penultimate starting day of the CPS €1100 Mystery Bounty.

The prize pool stands at €536,000, with 92 players and an average of 136,000 chips. Tonino Schmitz, Romain Locquet and Ismail Kalkan had livened things up at the start of the day, but they've just blown up.

It's the end of the road for Michal Kil and Arturo Paduano too...

00:49

Last Hands

The clock is running down on Day 1C with 78 players in the running... who will play the last 4 hands before packing up their chips.

Registration is still open on the paused 1D Turbo... resuming for an hour of play in less than 5 minutes with final attendance figures.

At the moment there's €551,000 in the pot.

01:18

586 players in the Mystery Bounty

Registration is complete for the penultimate starting day. The final tally is 74 qualifiers from the 12 40-minute levels, and it's no surprise that Day 1C was the busiest day of the €1,100 CPS Mystery Bounty Event #13.

There's nearly €556,000 in the prizepool, the €500,000 guarantee wiped out with a Turbo 1D that finally gathered 65 entrants. There are now 45 players on level 10, with just under an hour to go...
