The €1,100 Mystery Bounty with a €500,000 guarantee kicked off this Saturday, November 25 at the Circus Casino Resort in Namur.
4 starting days are scheduled, with Day 2 contested on 50-minute levels on Tuesday November 28, and a Final Day contested on one-hour levels with streaming on Wednesday November 29.
Each day comprises 12 levels, with late registration until the end of level 9 (around 10.45pm on Saturday). Day 1A began at 3 p.m., with each participant receiving 50,000 tokens and speaking in 40-minute levels.
In this first of four qualifying sessions, only 76 players are left in the running, with 126 already entered! It's level 7 and blinds 500 - 1000 (1000)... the average is 83,000 chips, even if some of them don't have enough time.
The Mystery Bounty component of the tournament will begin once the prize money is reached, at around 15% of the total field.

123 Entries on Day 1A
Registration is now closed for the first of four opening days of the CPS €1,100 Mystery Bounty. With 123 entrants, the tournament is off to a flying start, with a guaranteed €500,000 prize fund!
There are 55 players still in the running, with 23 minutes left to play in Level 10. Two 40-minute levels remain to be played at the end of this level, heading for Day 2 on Tuesday November 28. Day 2 will be played over 50-minute levels...
Noah Alem, Salvatore Alessi, Cédric Glineur, Denis Charlier, Guy Goossens, Anton Deglinne, Gary Hasson, Quentin Tan, Willem Ten Cate, Luc Ta and Farukh Tach are still in the running for this flight...
Note that the Mystery Bounty format will be implemented in the tournament at the money entry, at approximately 15% of the remaining starting field...

In the money on the Circus Cup, Rami Awad jumped straight into Day 1 of the €1,100 Mystery Bounty... to wrap up the chiplead on the opening day of this €500,000 guaranteed tournament a few hours later.
41 of the 136 entrants to Day 1A of the Mystery Bounty passed the hurdle and booked their ticket for Tuesday November 28's Day 2, which will be played over 50-minute levels. At the end of 12 40-minute levels, the Egyptian player familiar with Namur took down the biggest stack. He will return with 376,000 pawns on blinds 2000 - 4000 (4000).
Awad was ahead of Noah Alem (356,000) and Mathieu Colin (300,000), while Luc Ta, Gary Hasson (215,000) and Salvatore Alessi (195,000) were also up.
The same goes for Octavian Ripan, Gilles Magny, Sandro Pitzanti, Anton Deglinne, Guy Goossens and Cédric Schumacher...
