Four starting days for this €1,100 entry Event #11 of the CPS 2024... this No Limit tournament is contested in Mystery Bounty format (€400), with entry into the money at around 15% of the field...

The tournament kicked off at 3pm with Day 1A, which will stretch over 12 levels of 40 minutes each. Entries are allowed for 10 levels and the tournament offers a €500,000 guarantee.

While Day 1A participants are on dinner break until 8.50 p.m., the organization has collected 90 entries. 56 players have completed the first 6 levels and will return with an average of 80,000 chips on blinds 500 - 1000 (1000).

Omar Lakhdari, Antoine Vranken, Mercedes Osti, Leroy Aussems, Yoann Argence, Arno Coene, Raf Ielegems, Ken Claessens, Anton Deglinne, Nicolas Plantin, Mathieu Gallois, Christianus Lovrencevic, Erwan Pirotais, Wim Verhaegen, Vincent Gabel or Nengming Wang are still on track for this tournament, which is always eagerly awaited by players... 

The day will end at around 1.10 a.m., with registration closing at around 11.50 p.m., just before the first game of level 11.

Day 1B starts at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 1. On Monday December 2, Day 1C starts at 2 p.m., still on 40-minute levels, before a more rapid Day 1D on 20-minute levels starting at 9 p.m.

Day 2 will be played on 50-minute levels from midday on Tuesday December 3. Final Day on one-hour levels, Wednesday December 4 from midday! 

105 entries to open the Mystery Bounty

The €1,100 entry Event #11 of the CPS 2024 attracted 105 entrants on the first of its four opening days.

Participants will play 12 levels of 40 minutes each, and registration is now closed as level 11 is underway. There are 46 players left, with an average of 114,000 chips in the 1000 - 2500 blinds (2500).

Ken Claessens, who drew a 5-figure bounty on the last Mystery Bounty, is still in the running, as are Inigo Croes, Nengming Wang, Dominique Woiry, Khalid Sektani, Tobias Peters, Mercedes Osti, Anton Deglinne, Noah Alem, Fouad Elmouhmouh, Alain Fleurent and Yannick Ansenne...

As a reminder, the Mystery Bounty format (€400 from each buy-in, ed. note) is activated on entry into the money. Sunday's Day 1B starts at 2 p.m., with 10 more late registration levels and 12 levels to go before we reach Day 2 on Tuesday, December 3... 

25 players complete Day 1A

The first of four qualifying sessions for the €1,100 entry (€400 bounty) #Mystery Bounty Event was spread over 12 45-minute levels. The Circus Casino Resort in Namur attracted 105 entrants, with 25 competitors validating their tickets for Day 2, which takes place on Tuesday December 3.

On Sunday, Day 1B begins at 2pm, with late registration available on 10 of the 12 levels...

Here's the full chipcount of the survivors... Paschalis Papadopoulos is ahead of the game! Anton Deglinne, Noah Alem, Gianni Vandyck, Nengming Wang, Jerome Rajakumar have slipped into the provisional Top 10, while Fouad El Mouhmouh, Mercedes Osti, Alain Fleurent, Willem Ten Cate and Ingo Croes... who will return with 19 blinds on 2000 - 4000 (4000) and will be able to enjoy 50-minute levels.

Late check-ins are permitted until the end of level 10, at around 10.40 pm. The 70-minute dinner break will take place at the end of level 6, just after 6.30pm...

Day C kicks off

The third of four starting days for the €1,100-entry CPS 2024 Mystery Bounty event has begun, with participants receiving 50,000 chips to compete over 12 40-minute levels for 8 hours of poker.

Late registration until the end of level 10, with a Day 1D Turbo starting at 9pm... With a €500,000 guarantee and 211 entries in the first two flights, there's a bit of an overlay scare coming up in Namur!

60 players have already qualified for Day 2 on Tuesday, December 3... shuffle up & deal with around 30 players seated at the Circus Casino Resort tables in Namur!

400€ of each buy-in goes into the mystery prize pool, the Mystery format will be set up at the money entry, at around 15% of the remaining field... 

La Centaine

The table shows 98 players in the running for 100 entrants, with 33 minutes left to play on blinds 100 - 300 (300)... This is the second level of the third starting day.

The tournament's provisional attendance has exceeded 300 entrants... just over 500 are needed to reach the guarantee!

Incognito (or not)

It's always funny when players try to go incognito... like Bogdan Petrascu. At his best during the Spirit Fest final, which he dealt at the ICM as chipleader before finishing 4th, the Romanian got his Mystery Bounty off to a good start.

He defended in the big blind after an open and a call before checking-raising to 14,000 chips on a 3,000-chip continuation bet still paid. Opener pays on this Ten 6 5 flop with a flush draw... and the dealer unwraps a turn 2. Petrascu sends his stack in for 30,000 chips, paid by his opponent, who can't return better than Ace Ten. Bogdan reveals 6 and 5 for two pair and stays ahead on river 4.

Bogdan climbs to 92,000 chips as his opponent goes all-in for 4,500 on the next move with Ace 9. Heading for the rail,Omar Lakhdari uncovers Ace-Queen and stays ahead to get back to 30,000 chips. All this under the eyes of Gilles Magny, Erwan Pirotais, Kevin Mad Max and Donato Sparavilla... a great table!

The 200 - 500 (500) level ended with 143 players for 168 entrants and an average of 56,000 chips...

Temporarily? Registration is open until 10 p.m., with 144 players still in the running. 

209 entries have been registered, bringing the provisional attendance to 422, still short of the €500,000 guarantee as the last-chance Day 1D kicks off at 9pm with 12 levels of 20 minutes each... 

Flip Out

A lot is happening on the gong of level 7. The blinds have just gone up to 600 - 1200 (1200) with an average of 79,000 chips and the Daniel Tordjman - Karim Alleg duo have just gone all-in.

In a 4-way pot on Ace 4 6 rainbow, after two checks, Lowjack goes all-in for 16,500 chips and Daniel Tordjman pays from the cutoff. Fold from the other two players and the player in danger returns Ace 7... behind the Frenchman's 6 and 4 suit, who confirms his turn-river advantage to climb to 85,000 chips. In the right tempo.

It's all over for Day 1C, with 233 entries accumulating on the third of the four starting days of the €1,100 Mystery Bounty Event #11. 

With 211 entries for the first two opening days, provisional attendance climbs to 444 admissions. With over 350,000 chips on 1C, the winner of the Circus Cup 2023 Iulian Calagiu (photo) doesn't ask whether there will be an overlay or not, for the Romanian it's straight to Namur! 

Registration is open until 1.20 a.m. on the Tubo, where it's level 5 with 48 players in the running and 50 entrants... the 500-entry mark is just around the corner.

There are 20 minutes left to play on 1000 - 2500 (2500) with an average of 120,000 chips. There are still 100 players in the penultimate flight... 

Well on their way

Claude Mamalepot finally sees the light... open de Ferry Ikink3-bet shove 24 000 chips from Claude in MP and reshove at the button for 30 000 d'.Anh Pham. Ferry pays early with 7s, faces Ace-Queen for the Frenchman and King-Queen for the Dutchman who won the PLO last night. 

The dealer unloads an Ace 5 Ace 5 4 board that sends Claude to 80,000 chips as Anh joins the rail. Ferry falls back to the starting stack with 91 players left and 5 minutes to go in the 1000 - 2500 (2500) level, the penultimate level of Day 1C. 

"A lot of things," laughs Samy Barka when I ask him what happened. The BPC winner had reached the break following level 9 with 11,000 chips... he has 175,000 pawns in front of him 85 minutes later! "A great comeback," confirms his neighbor, Richard Beauchet. 

The third flight averaged 126,000 chips and will come to an end at the end of the next level. Blind 1500 - 3000 (3000) and off to bed for a short night, as Day 2 resumes at 1pm on Tuesday, with levels extended to 50 minutes... 

Last effort

Half an hour on the clock on Day 1C, with 85 of the 233 players still in contention... Play is 1500 - 3000 (3000) with an average of 137,000 chips. Having just arrived from London, Kenny Hallaert is wearing his PokerStars logo and jumping into Event #11 Mystery Bounty, the Belg already has a 6-figure stack.

For Samy Khaled, Mohamed Assaoui, Johnny Nedved, Raoul Kanme, Johannes Boeren, Nourdine Loulidi, Giovanni Camardella, Ken Claessens or Andreas van Deyck, Day 1D is the only option as these players left Day 1C in the final minutes...

Iulian well set, 72 Qualifiers on Day 1C

As Rami Awad played a big flip against Harrie Snijders, the floor announced the last three hands... fatal deals for Vincent Gabel or Evangelos Tsoutas... who still have a few minutes left to reach Day 1D, a Day 1D which should enable them to wait in-extremis for the €500,000 guarantee.

72 of the 233 entrants to Day 1C have cleared the hurdle and bagged up chips at the end of the 8 effective hours of poker , broken down into 12 levels of 40 minutes each. They join the 60 qualifiers from the first two sessions for Day 2, which resumes at noon on Tuesday at blinds 2000 - 4000 (4000), with levels extended to 50 minutes.

Nicolaas Wolters came out on top with 409,000 chips after a linear day. The Dutchman finally edged out Iulian Calagiu in the photo finish. The Circus Cup 2023 winner is always discreet, talking to his chips and raising 400,000 counters, 8 times the starting stack. The duo will have 100 blinds on the restart.

On this flight, Mark Roovers, Mathias Moutaoukil, Miro Alilovic, Idir Haiche, Matteo Zanardi, Vladislav Naumov, Sandro Pitzanti and Mark Bongaerts have put together big stacks to position themselves in the upper echelons of the field. As a reminder, the Mystery Bounty format, where €400 of the €1,100 buy-in goes into the Mystery Fund, will come into play when 15% of the remaining field enters the money...

527 entries on the Mystery Bounty, guaranteed!

The players in the money of Event #11 Mystery Bounty will share €500,650 at the end of late registration on the fourth and final starting day. Day 1D gathered 83 entrants to bring the final turnout for this €1,100 tournament to 527 entries.

Level 11 is underway on Day 1D. This is the penultimate level, so there's still 40 minutes to play before you can pack your chips and join the 132 qualifiers from previous sessions.

Mystery bonuses will be on offer on entry to the ITM... resume at noon on Tuesday on blinds 2000 - 4000 (4000). 

3 envelopes at €25,000, 175 players on Day 2

The verdict is in on the fourth and final opening day of the CPS €1,100 Mystery Bounty, which attracted 527 entries. 43 players made it through Day 1D, played over 12 20-minute levels, to form a contingent of 175 players for Day 2. Day 2 was played over 50-minute levels. 

Resumption Tuesday from noon on blinds 2000 - 4000 (4000) without Rob Hendrikx who was Day 1D chipleader with two hands to go. Rob then lost queens to ace-king at Dominique Potenza and 9 and 7 for a third player. No outs thanks to a 4 2 7 9 King board! 

Down to 115,000 chips, Rob then sees Anh Pham (below) goes all-in for the second time in the last three deals. He pays a pair of 8s and faces King-Queen. A Queen river seals Hendrikx's fate... and propels Anh Pham to the top of Day 1D. Bingo for CPS PLO winneron Sunday evening. 

Quentin Roussey also snuck in with 50 blinds in foxing, the winners will start sharing out half a million euros on Tuesday! 

The number of paid players is not yet known, but the organization has revealed that there will be three €25,000 envelopes in the safe at the entrance to the ITM.

One of the Max envelopes will only be put in the safe at the Final Day, held over one-hour levels on Wednesday.

Noah Alem (430,000) and Pel Nieuwenhuis (300,000) are not bad, and have just been joined by Dominique Potenza. The Belgian reached 300,000 after a match against Mohamed Razab Sekh (470 000). Potenza had 88 against Valet Dame on 9 Ten 9 6 8...

Ciao Donato 

The bubble has burst (Facebook Live by clicking here), securing a €1,000 min-cash for the last 79 players in Mystery Bounty Event #11, and just ten minutes later, with a quarter-hour break to go, only 69 players remained.

Just before the hand-by-hand, which lasted just three deals, Mercedes Osti doubled As Dame against As Dix at Schayan Agajan (82nd), a German who was covered and briefly believed it on As Dix 3 Roi Dame!

Following this, Philipp Schumacher, another German, tank-call-busted on As 5 Jack As Ten with three runner-runner diamonds (81st). Schumacher failed to folder As 8 and Iulian Calagiu had better. The Romanian winner of the Circus Cup 2023 was ambushed with King-Queen.

Behind, hand by hand began and on the third deal, Donato Sparavilla 3-bet shove after an open from Mustapha Al Sayeg. The Belgian pays with Aces and eliminates the Italian Namur regular, who can only return Ace-King. Donato finished in 80th place, the last to leave with no money... as there was a simultaneous all-in & call between Joseph Higny and Mark Roovers on a 3 Queen 5 Ace board, but Joseph covered with Aces against Roovers' 3s!

Behind the bubble, a carpet-paying explosion. Hassan Sey takes the lead, crossing the million mark with a strike. Open shove of 10 blinds fromAndreas Gondrom, who had doubled up Ace King against Queen Jack ten minutes before... flat to the cutoff from Mateusz Moolhuizen.

Hassan Sey 's 500,000 all-in on the button... Moolhuizen shrugs before calling for two blinds less with the Jacks. Gondrom turns over the Queens and Hassan the 8s, with a spade that will allow him to strike everyone on an Ace-Queen 3 5 9 board made up of 5 spades! Hassan raises to 1.3 million... and loses Ace 8 to Ace 9 to Alain Fleurent, who raises to 450,000 chips, the average on the bubble.

The Finn stays ahead of the field, which still includes Idir Haiche, Dominique Potenza, Marc Bougaret Pel Nieuwenhuis, Mark Roovers, Iulian Calagiu, Paul Covaciu, Raphael Canta, Miro Alilovic, Djamal Boutaleb, Samy Barka, Kenny Hallaert and many other regulars.

The final 79 players will share €210,000 in prize money (three €25,000 bonuses, one of which is up for grabs on Day 3) and €290,000 in the prizepool, with a first prize of €51,800.

The first post-bubble break has just ended, and play has resumed on 6,000 - 12,000 (12,000) with 64 players guaranteed a €1,110 payout and an average of 411,000 chips.

The shock of the photos... here are a few players out after the break for a little ITM, Miguel Pellicer is the only one of this batch to have made victims, so he drew 1000€ from the safe hence the difference... 

Finito for two Cup finalists earlier in the week, Miro Alilovic failed to take €42,000 as he did in 3rd place... 58th place finish for Paul Minzariu too. Noah Alem, Fred Blehaut or Simon Duprat also took part in this €500,000 prizepool tournament. 

The 79 players in the money share €290,000 with €210,000 in envelopes to be taken from the Mystery Chest... 

Salut Les Copains

There are only 5 tables left on this Mystery Bounty at €1,100 per entry... and in this cart of elminations we find some good friends and other regulars of the Namur jousts. Gone are Marc Bougaret, Alain Fleurent, Mercedes Osti, Min Sung Lee, Raphael Canta and Joseph Higny...

Dutchman Nicolaas Wolters is the only one to have taken bonuses. Huge on Day 1 and still well placed throughout Day 2, Nicolaas took a €5,500 bonus on the first draw before being caught out by the patrol.

26 dinner survivors, €25,000 jackpots fall

As the 26 remaining players in the €1,100 CPS Mystery Bounty Event #11 took their dinner break until 9.05pm, the second envelope draw began. Keny Hallaert took €5,000, but Luxembourg's Jim Paulus and France's Djamal Boutaleb drew the two €25,000 envelopes up for grabs on Day 2. 

There are €94,000 envelopes left in the vault, one for €10,000, one for €5,000 and a €25,000 Max envelope that won't be put into play until Wednesday's Final Day... Jim will have 50 blinds when he returns to the table on 10,000 - 25,000 (25,000) for an average of 1 million chips. 

Already a Big Tuesday winner, Djamal will be among the chipleaders when the locker room resumes. Two bustos and it's bagging time... as two players have refused to continue and preferred to take a dinner break!

24 players and lots of friends at Final Day

12 minutes and it was all over. It didn't take long for the post-dinner resumption to hold the last two finishers of a Day 2 that started with 175 players. Ronnie Mohan lasted two minutes for €1,920 and 26th place, while Mustafa El Sayegh held out a little longer. 

Down to 9 blinds, the bubble-bursting Belgian sends under the gun with Ace Ten. In the big blind Mohamed Razab Sekh wakes up with Ace Valet to end Day 2, Mustafa cashes €2,420 for his 25th place finish. Resumption at 3 tables at noon with 38 minutes to play on blinds 10,000 - 25,000 (25,000) with an average of 1.1 million chips. 

Djamal Boutaleband Quentin Roussey are (almost) at the top, outstripped by Finland's Hassan Sey (above), who was all over the place. Idir Haiche, Samy Barka, Heni Mokni, Iulian Calagiu, Fouad Elmouhmouh, Yanis Bidard, Paul Covaciu, Bogdan Petrascu, Kenny Hallaert are here again for one last day of madness, with the final to be followed by streaming!

Djamal at the helm

With the end of the current level and one more level to go, the field has fallen from 24 to 15 players in 98 minutes of play since the resumption of the €1,100 Mystery Bounty Final Day.

Chiplead of the tournament with 3.8 million on the restart on 20,000 - 40,000 (40,000), Djamal Boutaleb is having the time of his life. The Frenchman is used to deep-runs at Namur, and when the run is there, you have to take advantage. After taking the €25,000 on Day 2, Djamal took the €2,200 ticket in the first break bonus draw.

While Djamal is having the time of his life, the others are feeling the pinch, with only €40,000 left in the prize fund. A €25,000 Max bonus keeps everyone on their toes, while 4 €2,500 bonuses and 10 €500 bonuses round off the tournament, which can be viewed via streaming with the cards revealed for the final game.

Djamal must be wary of Fouad Elmouhmouh (€2.3 million), Duc Nguyen (€1.9 million) and Raoul van Wersch (€2.6 million) at his table, which also features early-day short stack Samy Barka (€900,000). Circus Cup winner Paul Covaciu, meanwhile, is in serious jeopardy with 250,000 in chips...

On the other table, it's Quentin Roussey (2.6 million) who's calling the shots, or almost. The Frenchman has a direct position on the table's other big stack, the one who took the biggest ICM prize in the Spirit Fest 4-way deal, Bogdan Petrascu (2.625 million). Approach final

Break with 11 players on the Mystery Bounty... there's €182,000 left in the prizepool and not much left in the prize pool other than a max bonus. In addition to the €25,000 bonus, there are 3 €2,500 envelopes and 8 €500 envelopes left! Samy Barka continues to hang on. 

Yannis Bidard took the tournament lead with 8.2 million in chips, including knocking out Matteo Zanardi (12th) before heading off to shoot an envelope. Yannis didn't let the Team Press draw their cameras... Jynx! "I haven't got the time," says Yannis... who draws 500€. Better than a slap in the face!

As for Erwin Wiechers, he eliminated Mohamed Razab Sekh (15th) by starting out in front, just as the Circus Cup winner thought he'd got back on track by hitting the Aces twice in 5 minutes. After doubling up twice and raising a stack, Romania's Paul Covaciu (above) finally gave up in 13th place, just after Paschalis Papadopoulos (14th) was eliminated.

The average is 2.4 million chips in the 30,000 - 60,000 blinds (60,000), with €4,570 guaranteed for all survivors in this field of 527 entrants.

Patrick Boernicke (below) broke the lock on the Final Table. The German's ace-valet remained in front ofErwin Wiechers' king-queen... the latter can console himself with the mountain of bonuses he collected...

Speed Poker

Right from the start Yannis Bidard increased its lead by Samy Barka (9e). With over 11 million chips out of 26 million in circulation, and 175 blinds, Yannis is in the lead... only Djamal Boutaleb and his 100 blinds are "in touch".

Quentin Roussey (8th) left the game in turn with 7s against Jacks at Hassan Sey... the Finn took advantage of the situation to flunk out in a tournament where there are no real shorts left. 





Fouad Elmouhmouh who was last in class with 16 blinds went all in with Jack Ten to jump against Bogdan Petrascu and his ace-king... Back to 40 blinds for the Romanian! 

The €25,000 bonus remains in the safe with half an hour to go before a break and the end of level 40,000 - 80,000 (80,000).

Oranje triumph

Victory and one of the €25,000 Max bonuses... Raoul van Wersch takes almost €40,000 in bonuses in this €1,100 Mystery Bounty Event #11, which attracted 527 entrants and saw the 79 winners share €500,000. The Dutchman pockets just over €86,000 after smoothing out the payout with his final opponent, France's Yannis Bidard.

The duo dominated the final and spent over two hours dueling, all streaming with the cards revealed. Chipleader at the start of the final table, he too drew a Max bonus, as France's Djamal Boutaleb confirmed his success in Namur, his second home. 

Those at home at Circus Casino Resort are the Dutch, since on the right of the photo you can see Carlo Wolters, winner an hour earlier of the High-roller for €47,500.
