A very Special Sunday

The Sunday Special (€100 - 20,000 chips - 20 minutes) at the Circus Namur French Open was a great success with 150 entrants, generating a prize pool of €12,555.

The last 20 players in the running won't go home empty-handed with a €165 min-cash. Next up is a top prize of €3,080!

In the end, it was Yvonne Grau who finished on the bubble, after almost a level without an exit. Right on cue, Heidi Croone added a paid place to her week, having already reached the money on the Main Event on Saturday Day 2.

Sébastien Guidez, who was on Day 3 of the Main, lost out in the semi-finals! The TF began with Roger Edain, Karim Ryadi, David Maso and Glenn Koster...

David Maso triumphs for €2,000 after a €4 deal

David Maso won the Sunday Special, which attracted 150 entrants in a final 4-player event. Chipleader at the time of the deal, David cashed in €2,000 for his performance in this tournament contested over 20-minute levels...

Although they were guaranteed a €1,000 payout, the last 4 players in the running decided to work out a deal to win double.

At the top of the ranking, David Maso takes a little more money, the trophy and the right to a personal photo session...

It's worth noting that two players who had deep-run the Main were also far behind on this closing Sunday. Karim Ryadi, 33rd in the Main Event and present on Day 3, quickly lost out in the final (8th), while Sébastien Guidez fell in the semi-finals (12th), having finished 24th in the Main earlier in the afternoon.
