Kevin Pietquin back on top

A regular at Namur's events, Kevin Pietquin has returned to success after a drought dating back to Carnival 2018. Back then, a time when there were 3 starting days and 437 entrants in the €330 Main Event, Kevin dealt to 4 before taking the trophy for a final win of €16,025.

Since then, the lines have followed each other, but the win was missing. Pietquin made up for it in Event #2 Mix Game at the Namur Classics festival, a €110 tournament which attracted 44 entrants for a final prize pool of €3,776 and featured a PLO level alternating with a No Limit level.

Kevin Pietquin won after a 3-handed deal in which the players left €142 and the trophy to the winner. A magic river against Sébastien Hebette later, Kevin started the last duel with 75% of the chips and not much depth for Nicolas Noel

The latter didn't resist for long, despite a big superior wrap, and it was with a single pair of 4s in PLO that Pietquin conquered the trophy. Happy to be the last in line.

The tournament saw the final 6 players share the prizepool. Dominique Potenza finished in worst place, bubble-boy (7th), while Pierre Neuville (10th), Vincent Gueneau (11th) and Jef Hemmer (14th) were not so far off the mark...
