Almost an hour of play and 19 players are still in the running for this Mystery Bounty. As the 1500 - 3000 (3000) level draws to a close, the bubble is slowly closing in this €400 Event #9.
The average is 53 blinds despite the half-hour levels, and Ingo Paulus, Adam El Hamdouchi, Sang Nguyen, Alex Ratiscol, Frank Steenbergen and Steven de Braeckenier have jumped since the start...

David Kahan mown down at the bubble, TF approaching
After the exit of Jean-Pierre Cruccas (17th), hand-by-hand play began on two tables and blinds 2500 - 5000 (5000). While Wladimir Stepanian (70,000) and above all Julien de Meus (55,000 / below) were suffering, the first hand of the hand by hand was the right one, thanks to a big setup.

As play wound down on the first table, Miguel Coussement, who had opened early and made his one-blind c-bet on 6 6 Ten, was check-raised. David Kahan had defended in the big blind and so raised this flop to 20,000 chips... with Tens and Full House in his hands, Miguel paid simply to discover a Queen on the turn.
David Kahan bets another 35,000 chips and gets paid, with the dealer dropping a 9 on the table. David sends in 60,000 chips with 40,000 behind and snaps when he's reraised all-in by the opener. Miguel flips his Mason Full and David stands up in shock, even taking a photo as he reveals Queen 6 suit for a Full House found on the turn!

Players then secure €335... and can take a 20-minute break. When play resumes, they're off again to play 4 levels, heading for the dinner break and the first bonus draw, at around 7pm. The game is now played on 4000 - 8000 (8000) and there are only 11 players left, averaging 40 blinds.
