#BPC24 - NLH PKO Deepstack

00:33
Nordine Loulidi King du PKO (€3,180)
142 players took part in the €250 PKO Deepstack on the closing day of the Belgian Poker Challenge 2024. Event #31 of the BPC featured quarter-hour levels with €100 on each player's head (you eliminate someone and take half of their personal bonus straight into your pocket, the other half goes to your private bonus), and it was two regulars at the Namur casino who came to a head's up agreement.
With the last two players in the running inevitably capturing a large bounty, advancing to the final duel means taking the same share of a €15,705 prize pool. The champion and his runner-up therefore took €3,180 each... After that, they agreed to keep what they had in front of them. Nordine Loulidi was well ahead in the chipcount, so he kept the trophy and his personal bonus - he had €1,500 in front of him at the time of the deal - while leaving his €750 bonus to Ngoc Nguyen. The champion finally pocketed just over €6,000 for this tournament, which was concluded in just over 8 effective hours of poker.
20 players entered the money after Maric Galic's bubble. Anne Trebitsch (14th) and Cem Muhtar (12th) ended the festival on a high note...
