An engaging player, France's Ugo Faggioli has already triumphed at the Circus Casino Resort in Namur, on the Mystery Bounty of the Namur Classics 2023... he did it again in the €4,000 High-Roller of the CPS, without a deal for a €50,000 win that takes him past the $800,000 mark in live winnings.
"I'm coming out of a complicated period, I've been playing less," confided the champion after a success that was "rather fluid, with good timing and good decisions". "I've been coming back to Live since September, my friends have been there and since May things have been going well online too," explained the Nancy player.
"Very happy", Ugo Faggioli said that overall he had "managed". "I won a big flip on Day 1 and another one at 5 left, I didn't make any big decisions, I just set things up afterwards", continued the winner, who is building up an impressive list of achievements.
BPT winner, WSOP Circuit online champion, Ugo Faggioli triumphed for his three daughters. "I thought of them... The older one is ten and understands more, they'll be happy, the trophy is magnificent", says the man who comes to the Circus Casino Resort in Namur "two or three times a year".
Ugo Faggioli triumphed over a field of 36 entrants at the end of two days of competition. Five players entered the money after an interminable bubble that saw Tobias Peters (6th) fall victim to Gerard Carbo's success. Carbo made up ground on chipleader Gary Hasson before Peters lost a decisive move to Chris Dowling.
Winner of the PSO Namur High-Roller for just over €51,000 in June, Carbo has taken over €300,000 on the circuit since then. This high-roller was his first trophy, and he just missed out on the double, even though the head's up was one-way...
