Cock-a-doodle-doo for Gaëtan

Gaëtan Schnepf, an amateur player who likes to play live, took up poker after the COVID, and achieved his benchmark success by defeating a field of 1,827 entrants. After a deal leaving the champion with €5,000, he came out on top after a final duel lasting almost 90 minutes and took the lion's share of a hefty €367,960 prizepool.

The last 6 players in contention turned their buy-in into a 5-figure win, and the last 5 players in contention will be in the CPS Main Event at the end of the year thanks to their €2,200 ticket!

18 players returned for Day 3, which was contested over 50-minute levels... Four players fell in the first hour, including BPC champion Samy Barka (18th), who was eliminated in 5 minutes, while Fabian Gentile (12th) had not yet arrived!

It took just under 3 hours of poker to reach the Final Table, with Frenchman Antoine Cochet just missing out. Three Belgians lost out in the semi-finals, while Goran Bogdanovic lasted just ten minutes at the final table.

Kader Slila (4th) was in the driving seat going into the final and secured his ticket, but card-dead he lost out at the foot of the podium. Just behind him was Olivier Maio (5th), who had qualified for €50 at The Clover!

Jhonn Lienard put in the best Belgian performance by finding a podium after qualifying on Friday evening on the last of the eight starting days...
