RENDEZ-VOUS IN NAMUR ON 21 MAY, HEADING FOR BRATISLAVA
The concept is simple: you play Day 1 at €350 in Namur on 21 May from 2.30pm (60,000 chips - 30 minutes) and all you have to do is finish in the top 12% of the field to enter the money... heading for Day 2 of a tournament in Bratislava guaranteeing a €500,000 prizepool. In the money in Namur, you'll get €800, which you'll have to collect in Slovakia before the rest of the tournament, with Day 2 taking place on 10 June!
Throughout April and May, opening days will be held in at least 8 European countries. In addition to Namur, Day 1s will be held in Spain, Belgium, Romania, Liechtenstein and Croatia... and the Bratislava caisno is actively working to offer starting days in France and Italy... to further boost the prizepool and wipe out the €500,000 guarantee.
The Million Poker Festival will take place from 5 to 12 June at the Card Casino in Bratislava. 15 tournaments are on the programme with an overall guarantee of €1 million over the event. The organisers will be offering variant tournaments as well as a leaderboard offering €20,000 in prizes to the top 5 finishers (the champion will win a €12,800 WPT package, editor's note).
