Michaël Gathy got off to a triumphant start to his career by winning the €1,700 Belgian Series Main Event in Namur for €175,000. A few months later, he won his first WSOP bracelet in a €1,000 tournament in Las Vegas for an astronomical payout of $440,829.
The legend was launched, and the Belgian player who was destined to become a doctor repeated the feat 3 times, now surpassing Davidi Kitai in the number of bracelets with 4 (including one won online in September 2020).
