Julien 'KroolhearT' Martini

A high-stakes cash-game player for several years on the big games of Macau, Julien Martini revealed himself to the world of poker in 2018 by winning the first French WSOP bracelet in 4 years on the {{Content__TopText|TextArea}},500 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better for $239,771.

Funnily enough, he even married the player he beat in heads-up play at this tournament, Kate Hoang, the following year. A specialist in variants, he also finished 3^rd in the $10,000 Razz Championship the same year, but it was in Hold'em that he pulled off two resounding feats in quick succession.

First, he finished runner-up to compatriot Jean-René Fontaine in the EPT National de Barcelone in August 2018 for the princely sum of €323,000. Then, in January 2019, he put in an unforgettable performance by finishing runner-up in the $25,000 PSPC behind Spain's Ramon Collilas, collecting the pharaonic sum of |HtmlArea|[IsMandatory:true]}},974,000 by way of reward.

In 2021, he added two more WSOP bracelets to his list of honours, winning back-to-back WSOP-Europe €2,500 Short-Deck titles for €60,009 and then, a few days later, the €2,000 8-Game Mix for €33,910, becoming the only Frenchman to hold 3 WSOP bracelets.

^10th on the French All Time Money List, Julien Martini joins Team PMU at the start of 2022, still with big ambitions for the next WSOP in Las Vegas.
